I am no RG3 fan but Manziel doesn't even sniff Griffin's jock strap

    RG3

    1. Much Stronger
    2. More accurate deep ball
    3. Bigger
    4. Faster
    5. Stronger

RG3 was ahead in NFL readiness (which is not saying much hahahahahaha)

Yep RG3 without out a doubt

3rd knee surgery. Conveniently left that out.

Aren't you the one that says Combine results and pro days don't mean anything? That it's about tape?

RGIII woukd have failed miserably in the SEC, the closest thing to the NFL. He runs Manziels errands.

Scouts across the board had RGIII a much higher rated prospect than Manziel coming out of college. This is common knowledge wherever you look.

Since RGIII lead his NFL team to the playoffs in his first year I believe you are 100 % wrong.

RG3's tape was better than Manziel's, its not even close

RG3 was a much better passer at Baylor than Manziel at A&M, its not even a debate lol

Thats why RG3 did well with a bad redskins team his rookie year

this SEC close to NFL garbage needs to cease and desist

Only people with IQ under 90 try to posture that as an argument

    I amend my previous statement:

Only people with an IQ under than a 100 would even consider that an argument especially when considering that 1-2 starters off of 2-3 SEC teams become viable NFL players

Only the average dope gets caught up in that foolishness

    Another advantage RG3.

Manziel is 3 knee surgeries away from being at his level! With his style of play we can only assume that this will be the result in the NFL. We can't assume that he'll be a good pocket passer, simply because he's never been one before.

And was still a dynamic runner, less than a year after that 3rd surgery.

Yes he still produced and was a hell of a player.... But he's obviously pointing out he's made of glass.

No different than people around here pinning their hopes on a dope free banged up Cushing... They have all hope for Cush but consider RG3 through... Lol...

I don't know why people are so surprised by this... They act like RG3 was garbage when he was in college. BUT, it does bring up the issue of smaller guys like Johnny and Teddy getting hurt at the NFL level when they were both banged up in college like RG3 was.

besides off field issues and height..

I think this is the issue in a nutshell:

"does not go through progression reads naturally. Has a gambler's mentality as a decision maker. Blatently passes on wide open targets underneath in favor of extending the play for a bigger opportunity. Makes more critical errors as a decision maker (throwing across field, up for grabs, ignoring checkdowns, etc.) than any QB we've ever stamped with a first-round grade. Must also learn to beat blitz with mind/arm rather than relying on feet."

    quoted from Real Shady link

always going for the grand slam huh?

Is he going to be able to overcome this on a consistent basis against NFL talent? Is that even a type and style of play one CAN overcome?

Brett farve also had the same mentality.

Yes he holds the most INT's of all time, but what other records/trophies does he have?

(not saying JFF will be the next farve, just saying they have the same mentality. Can it be curbed with JFF? We dont know yet.)
