Lin fans should just shut your trap and go away quietly, if a coach put a SF on a PG, it only means your own PG's defense is a suspect and he DOES NOT TRUST YOU. That's how bad you really are and Lin played like one tonight. HOT GARBAGE! Even the rookie outplayed you, sorry Lin, you are pathetic.

It's not very fair when you are comparing who you consider
the worst player in our team with the best player on their team,
and who some consider the finest PG of his generation.

Just pointing out the silliness in the comparison.

McHale left Cannon on the floor
and rested Harden, Lin and Asik on the bench,
which is the turning point of the game.

    J. Crawford scored 7pts and killed the Rockets.

    Bad coaching.

    Jeremy Lin is terrible.

McHale is a poor coach, especially compared to Doc Rivers. McHale was just out of his league tonight.

    Rockets have no bench.

Houston has no half-court offense besides iso ball.

This team has many flaws. It needs better bench players, a better coach, Lin needs to go, starters need to take their game to another level, which they may not have, Harden needs to learn to play some defense, and D12 needs to develop some offensive skills, but after 9 years in the league, he is probably who he is, and a 3rd star may be needed. Then people can start talking about being contenders.

I just wish that Lin could find an effective way to contribute to to the team even if he has terrible games like this. Parsons and Bev sometimes have bad games but they never seem as terrible as Lin's why is that? It always seems like Lin makes a terrible decision, goes too fast, or turns the ball over at the most inopportune time.. it's really strange.

That lineup was baffling for sure. And he left them out there two get down by 10. If you want to win the game, you can't bench all those guys at the same time.

That might have played on Lin's head, where McHale would rather have Parsons on Paul. Either way Lin should've step up tonight. He needs to get better with Beverley and Howard being out for amount of time.

Disappointing to lose this one. Really want to finish on that 3rd spot. We definately looked like the injuries effected us more than the clippers did. Bev's hustle would have had an impact especially on CP3 tonight who basically carried the Clippers.

I'm sure Lin will have a good game again in the next few games and this game was not a good reflection on how he can play.

The only thing that really bugs me with Lin is that his a bit mentally frickle, any mistakes he makes in the game more often or not affects him for the rest of the game. You will see Harden get blocked, or make 2 turnovers in a row...but u can guarantee he will keep coming even harder at you next time and thats the same with Bev.

Lin however goes on a spiral of over thinking his OWN game. He needs to refocus back on the game itself and get with the flow. He can perhaps set some ingame goals for himself, such as restricting his opponent to no points for the next 5 mins or outscore opponents team in the next 5 mins and so forth so his focus is on the game rather than himself.

next game, let's try Canaan on CP3. Canaan looks like he can play scrappy

We missed Bev, Dwight and the 2PFs. Too much to overcome.

Garcia and Casspi out there looked like tourists. Can't shoot, can't defend. We should play Hamilton instead.

    To be honest

TJ had a horrible game too, 19 mins... 2 Points, 5 rebounds. Yeah... TJ gotta put his stamp on this game. Great player but just don't want it badly enough.

Lin was horrible. My god why is this man even starting? I rather see Asik play PG than see Lin jumping in the air and throwing to coaches out of bounds.

Parsons had 46 mins played. Why didn't Ham get any playing time tonight?

    Lin was trash offensively
    Parsons got abused by Paul
Harden was a To machine and played matador D
    Asik got abused by Jordan
    T-jones was - 20 in less than 15 min

But it's all Lin's fault, right guys

i do think the hack a jordan move screwed things up because they were making a run. the more you let bad free throw shooters practice they get in a rhythm. one we get our next win then i'll see posts on how great everyone played. i should be used to that by now.

Why don't we cut Smith who's injured anyway and find another serviceable player whether PG or PF/C?

The worst Lin can do is be a breakeven guy but he was a total negative and a liability when he stepped on the court.

He is playing out of position.

Lin is a SG, but he tries way too hard to be PG and it's just awkward. He has this "switch" in his head where he tries to go full PG mode or full SG mode. When he goes full PG mode he constantly tries to force difficult passes in traffic, make full court lobs that are difficult to catch, and get stuck in the paint.

When he goes full SG mode he doesn't seem to know when to stop. He charges in a packed paint on transition and get blocked, only to repeat the same mistake the next time around. Then he gets stuck between trying to play PG and trying to score and he just looks lost.

Lin is better off coming off the bench where he could focus on scoring and not trying to be Steve Nash.
