I give it two years before a season 2 comes Why yes I have! This show just fills you with so much emotion. Chisaki does love tsumugu back, but she still has some feelings for Hikari that she seems to not be able to let go of. Kaname appears to have finally realized sayu's love for him, hopefully they get some development next week. My guess is that manaka asked a question to the red bellied sea slug about Hikari, but I feel like it will deeper that what can think of. (who would have guessed the sea God took her love?!?!) I really want to say miuna will become the sea God's bride, but that seems too easy of a guess. The OP has manaka and miuna hold the sacred flame, which can only be held by someone related to the sea God. Will they both become the protectors of the sea? Or the key to uniting the land and sea once again? Why Is manaka losing her Ena giving half sea people the ability to use Ena? They only heard the scales when they were on the verge of drowning. So many questions that need answering in two episodes. Have you watched ace of the diamond? Sawamura is about to pitch and I hope he has a more impressive showing than furuya. I still need to watch it so we gotta talk about that too. Lol
I also forgot to ask you. When is the orange hair girl going to show?? Close? Based on where they are now? I read about her and she seems open about her love for raku. I want to see that happento put more pressure on the other girls. Lol
Yeah I would imagine they will just wait until the manga finishes.. I heard there is a likely 20 volume ending (I think they are at 13 now?) They have already translated up to 11 in the US (I own all 11 - now if I could just find time to read an actual paper book) Not only are they about to drown when they are gaining the ena, but both are in the water due to the one they love.. which is what Manaka lost along with her ena. Muina originally fell in because she and Hikari were standing there together when the boom collapsed and he is who she is thinking of in the water. Of course Tsumugu chasing after Chisaki, the one he loves... ironically (or not) Hikari is in the water both times it happens. The writing on this show/story is just so in depth... it has me near tears every episode. I'm guessing that the two of them with the flame is purely symbolic in the intro, mainly because we had some symbolic stuff going on in the intro and ending of the first section of the story. Though I did say that it seemed that eventually Tsumugu was going to be able to visit Shioshishio from that last intro and I was right so maybe this is foreshadowing as well. I'm not sure if Kaname will recognize Sayu's feelings until she puts them right out there for him. He is too caught up in the whole Chisaki/Tsumugu drama to notice someone else at this point. Which is sad because before the time jump for him he was the most observant one... now that has passed on to Hikari. I am guessing (and hoping) that Sayu's confession and the knowledge of Tsumugu's confession will shock him back into himself. I can't believe that this show is going to have a resolution in that short amount of time that is left. I am guessing this will end on a "choose your own resolution" of sorts... which will severely disappoint the romantic in me. I finished the episode for this week this morning. I knew that Sawamura wouldn't do as well as Furuya (mainly because, let's be honest, Furuya at least has a little more experience than Sawamura) but it was fun to see how he did do... I'll wait until you finish before I comment more. I have to say my favorite characters are Miyuki and Haruichi. Though I love Furuya and Sawamura, I love how Miyuki and Haruichi react to the two of them lol ummm she should be coming soon... I would say in maybe two or three episodes at most. The anime is on around chapter 20 something and she shows up in the 30s... So, you read about her? Marika is a hoot... and she has some sweet moments too. Tachibana has the most affect on changes with Chitoge, mainly because we find out about her past with Raku first. Supposedly the anime is going to be 20 episodes... so I don't think we will meet all of the girls this season. Tachibana will probably be the last of them. There are currently two more in the manga but I think it will stop before they are introduced. I think it will stop around chapter 50-51... there's a good place to stop there. There is a beach trip and a school play to get through before that though
So apparently Fairy Tail's animation budget for the new season just went through the roof: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/HQJ34jAQKrI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> That's damn near movie quality. Too bad it wasn't a better arc.
It had potential but it was like they wanted to hurry and finish it I haven't confirmed it, but aren't those new voice actors as well.. I can't read Japanese. I'm excited about it though, should be fun regardless. I wonder if they will stray from the source material at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they do add in more filler arcs in order to keep going and not stop again.
A filler arc detailing the destruction of the world that Future Lucy and Rogue come from would be pretty good.
Are yall subscribed to funimation or do yall go to an online site to watch fairy tail? Think funi has solo licensing to it so crunchy won't be able to get it. Wanting to watch the series. The part about them Falling in the water with their love, never even heard thought of that. Nice catch! Makes sense because when they got their Ena they could hear manaka's scales and saying it was filled with emotion. For some reason I always want to see tsumugu fail.... Pretty messed up if I do say so myself, but ever since he lured manaka and began stealing chisaki he's irritated me. That no emotion demeanor of his doesn't help either. He should just go back to the University and never return lol. It's 3 episodes to wrap it up. Still a lot to cover with so very little time, curious how they'll pull it off. If it is the scenario where we come up with our own ending I'll be very disappointed as well. Hate those kind of endings, I like closure. Miyuki always messing with them and his laugh just gets me every time. I honestly don't see how sawamura will become the Ace when tanba will be set to return in about 3 games. I mean, I predicted tanba would get hurt so he'd get an opportunity, but after he does sawamura might as well be out of the rotation. Let's see how he evolves until then. Wiki'd her lol. Wait, 2 more?!?! Is this counting or not counting marika? Man, how many girls did raku seduce as a kid lmao.
Funimation eventually puts them all on hulu in the subbed version hoping to get people to buy the dubbed version... That's where I watched them all last time. Also Funimation has rights to stuff they put on Netflix as well... Like AOT and fairy tail also has eps on there now... So we shall see! Yep that was what gave me the idea... That her and there ena was tied to their love of both the other person and the sea. I don't blame him for manaka... But I was so glad to see him finally smile for the first time when he realized he had the ena and could breathe underwater. It took what 26 episodes over nearly a six year span? lol he doesn't bother me with Chisaki because I need her away from Hikari and Kaname! I don't think he will be the ace during this season... Now I haven't read this manga (I assume there is a manga) but I get the feeling they will follow the boys for a second season and then they will have Sawamura as the ace with furuya as a closer. That way they will give Haruichi with a bigger role too. Instead of just a backup behind his brother. lol 2 more after Marika... well I'll give you a slight spoiler.... Avert thine eyes if you wish Spoiler one of them is Onadera's younger sister and the other is associated with tsumugi -neither have a key but that doesn't mean they won't interact with Raku and cause even more chaos.
Well we were both right about Nagi! Though I think thy will do something in the last episode to save Miuna. Hikari isn't going to let his quasi-niece sacrifice herself without trying to save her
Awesome Finale, but now I'm sad that the incredible ride that was Kill La Kill is now over. Man, this puts a temporary stop in my streak of watching animated shows that I'm WAY too into. Had Young Justice (I know this is an anime thread, but if you guys haven't seen this show you should really check it out. Greg Wiesman + incredible animation = Greatness), which finished right as Attack on Titan started, which then handed me off to Legend of Korra, which carried into Kill La Kill. Now I got nothing animated that makes me completely geek out... for now. Don't get me wrong, I still love HxH, Kuroko, etc. And I'm still finishing Log Horizon, but they don't capture me like KLK (probably because I have an affinity for reading and writing/drawing strong female protagonists in action). I'm sure I'll get into something (Or the returning Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, and Mad Men may take all of my TV watching time anyway).
They better! There's going be a huge void in my chest if miuna doesn't end up happy. I feel sooooooo bad for her Seriously, I can't stress it enough, the art in this show is the one of the best I've seen in several years if not the best. Everything is beautiful, from characters eyes to backgrounds. One of the best selling points to this series and is a must watch imo.
End of Kill La Kill tonight. What did you guys think? I thought some of the buildup was better and the ending was almost anti-climactic. It was still good though.
I just don't get the love for kill la kill... Did I stop watching too soon?? I only made it through three episodes. Maybe I should try it again. RR14 I totally agree about the Nagi artwork it's really beautiful... The ofiniki scenes especially in this last episode were awesome. I read somewhere the same studio has a new spring show starting when Nagi ends but I can't remember where I read it to get the name of it!!!
I loved it, but the ending didn't have as much of an effect and felt slightly rushed. Spoiler Sad that senketsu just burst into flames and that was the end of him. Her mom a just took herself out like nothing. Other than that it was a fantastic series.. All that nudity I belive so. It had a Gurren Lagann feel to it from when Simon was depressed about Kamina. Slow that the Mc isn't doing much, then after a couple of episodes they figure it all out and are able to put on a show. (ryuko vs satsuki part 1) Dont get me wrong, KLK is nowhere near the level of TTGL, but you get the same feeling a lot of times.
I wonder why they insist on a long season for a show like Attack on Titan. They don't have enough material now for a 20+ episode season, but they could very easily air a 12 episode season for 2014 or early 2015 given the very high demand right now. If they do it right they can keep up with the Manga without lapping it like they did in one season.
You might have stopped watching too soon. The plot starts out pretty insane, but as more of the backstory is revealed it starts to make sense and becomes awesome. I think it's great, but I can see how others may have issues with the pacing and frenetic energy of its action and humor. Depends on your tastes really. Do you like Gurren Lagann or FLCL?
Here's the anime I have watched: DBZ Yu-Yu Hakusho Ruroni Kenshin (loved this!) Gundam Wing Gundam 00 Zoids (all of them) Outlaw Star (love this!) Wolf's Rain Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Death Note Attack on Titan Out of these the only one's I have watched in the past 5 years have been: Death Note Attack on Titan I've really liked both of these. Attack on Titan probably the most. I like the you don't have any real clue what's going on aspect of Wolf's Rain and Attack on Titan. Can you guys recommend me some anime to watch? I forgot how entertaining they are.
I generally don't have the same taste as you do it seems(didn't watch most of the shows you listed). But I find it curious that you've watched both Gundam Wing and 00 but never Gundam Seed. And at least in Japan, Seed was far more popular. So you might want to check that out. Also, if you loved Outlaw Star, you probably should love Cowboy Bebop.
