It would be a robbery, dominant defrnsive player in the first

Cerebral, highly intelligent, tough, accurate mobile passer with great pocket poise in the second

    Win win

I always thought Bridgewater would drop... And Johnny will probably drop right along with him. But I think Johnny will go somewhere in the back of the 1st... Teddy may have a long wait on day two of the draft as well.

If Bridgewater drops Texans need to find a way to trade up in the 1st round to get him before someone else does.

Hope we trade it but I don't know about all the way to 9... we would have to get a huge offer!

Two 1st rounders and two 3rd rounders might do it for me.

The draft hasn't happened yet. Maybe they all go in the top 5. But every quarterback needy team in the top of the draft have signed a QB except for Cleveland. So it's very possible those teams could wait to take a quarterback after the 1st. Especially with all of these quarterbacks having question marks. And if O'Brien's opinion is respected in the NFL _ he may have muddied the water by saying there's not much separation between the group of quarterbacks and from a lot of these reports it seems he's not the only one who thinks so.

Never know what actual NFL teams are thinking. But we'll see what happens.

    Agree

That would be golden for Houston and it's completely possible.
Only trouble is, we are overlooking Arizona - they could quite possibly jump on TB if he is there.
I have seen a very good mock over on HTMB that resulted in Texans getting Clowney 1.1 and RaShead Hageman 2.1.
Who wouldn't be delighted with that scenario?

I don't see any way Bridgewater falls out of the top 10 of the draft.

Why not trade down to #6 and take Mack. Then use our second rounder and the other picks we get from Atlanta to move up and get Manziel?

Barring Clowney pulling a Bridgewater:)p), media (& some fans?) will shift it again--> Bortles(after his pro day)-->Manziel(after his pro day)-->Clowney(after his pro day?)

    {Clowney Pro Day is Wednesday}

Takes two to tango. I'm sure the Texans would love to trade down if someone was willing to trade up.

Wow. Johnny Football is number 1 in the polls. I bet most of those Bridgewater votes will go somewhere else when we poll again before the draft.

The last important pro day is on Wednesday, I think we should do the new poll on Friday.

Hahaha. All of the Bridgewater robots see the writing on the wall and want to change their votes to Clowney, i.e. Anyone But Manziel.

I don't think we need another poll. We had the option of waiting if we weren't sure yet. Live with your 2nd round QB picks.

Might want to wait for the flavor of the week to run it's course. Just as J.R. said, it seems as though unless you **** the bed like Teddy did, the sheep will flock to you after your pro day.
