I'm glad more people are sharing their experiences with the board, but as always everything that is being shared should be taken with a grain of salt! Not every experience that we don't understand is a paranormal experience, some have a logical explanation, while others are genuinely baffling and can't be explained! As I've stated earlier on this thread, I've never seen a ghost or heard any audible voices, but I have had one experience that might be considered paranormal. It happened when I was in my late teens, I had just gotten off of work at 11pm. from Krogers and was with a friend of mine (Steve). Both of us had been invited to a party and decided we should ride together, so that we could enter the party together and make it easier to settle in with the rest of the group already there. The party was at Steve's cousins house, a girl who at the time had the hots for me. They had converted the detached garage into a guesthouse/gameroom and had a pool table inside. When we got there, Steve went in first while I stay'd in the car making sure my hair and attire were good to go. When I started walking towards the door to go inside I remember I felt like a million bucks, and was ready to go inside an make my presence felt! As soon as I went inside, I mean literally as I was walking through the door, I felt this extreme pressure that came over my entire body, and as I looked around I saw that everyone had this look of being in a trance, as if they were had all been zombie-fied or something. I stayed inside maybe 10-15 seconds and immediately walked back out! Steve came after me, asking me where was I going and if everything was alright. I told him how I felt inside, and asked him if he felt or saw anything out of the ordinary, and he said no, and that he wanted to go back inside! Which he eventually did! I've been to a lot of party's where everyone was either drunk or on something (including myself) but this was the first and only time I felt this extreme pressure all over me! I can't say for certain what made me feel like that, although I have my own theory of what was there that caused me to feel that way, which I'm going to keep to myself. ....... ....... .......
I don't know what you would call this but I see to much stuff that happens before it happens in a cryptic way. Some small some big. I would think or do something and later it will come back to me as hey you should've checked this out. Couple of funny things like; wanting to go eat at taqueria arandas and then coming back seeing thread mentioning the arandas owner died, Recording a movie I have no clue what it is about and watching it last night to see its exactly what my uncle is going thorough. johnn Q btw. Funny, I always thought it the other way, the more educated a person is the less likely he'll see around his book. Not being an ass, just saying.
Are you asking was I on drugs or alchohol ? No. Everyone else there probably/likely. What I'm trying to make a point about is what I felt and saw versus what my friend Steve felt and saw. I have never felt like I did that day in my life, and it went away when I got back outside! ....... ....... .......
My wife always says that she can sees and dreams signs that foreshadow things that will happen. A few years back she dreamed about three numbers and told me to play them on the Pick Three. Well, I stopped at a Valero on the way in from work and the lines was super long. So I left and didn't get the ticket. Needless to say, those numbers hit... And in exact order. $500 thrown away due to my impatience.
I hate to be that guy. While I do think there are probably some instances when people see, hear, and feel things that are completely unexplained, I think that your story is easily explainable. You were going to a party where you knew there was a girl who was into you. You obviously didn't want to mess it up hence why you stayed in the car fixing your hair. Then as you walk in everyone turns to stare at you. You probably had a mini panic attack. I think what you felt can easily be attributed to general anxiety. Even if it never happened before and never happens again. It could very easily have just happened in that one instance for whatever reason without you even knowing.
I'm a Christian now, and like Salvy pointed out on a previous post,the Bible does talk about mediums and spirits. I know some people might giggle after hearing that, but that's ok, there's no shame in my game. I hope I answered your question. (P.S.) Sounds like a reasonable explanation (the girl) except I wasn't into her, she was actually kinda ugly looking....(Trying to keep it real) beside I had known this girl for quite some time and had been around her a lot as well, so I don't think it was anxiety. And as far as me trying to fix myself up, I'm sorry my vanity gets the best of me sometimes, I wasn't fixing myself up for her. ....... ....... .......

One time in HS I was parking with my GF at a dark lovers' lane. The radio was playing "Night Moves" by Bob Seger when the DJ reported that the "Hook Man" serial killer had escaped a nearby institution. You might remember him, he had a hook in place of one of his hands. We heard a bump up against the car and when I looked up I caught a glimpse of steel. Not really "ghostly" but more like UFO ish. Last night, I was in the medical center with my friend helping her do some studying. When they kicked us out, we got on the shuttle to go back to the garage where we parked. I looked up in the sky and saw a low flying plane. It had red and blue lights. It was flying real low. A few minutes later, I look for it again, but this time, it's way too high. It could not have climbed that fast. We drive back to her house in Bellaire. We see the damn thing again. It wasn't as high as before, but not really low. It was stationary. It was a clear night and you could see a bunch of stars. A bunch for living in the city stars. Like 15 maybe, including all of Orion. Then that **** starts moving again, and we kinda grab our crap and we run into the house. I searched twitter mentions for anything. Found nothing.
Once i was visiting my wife's grandmothers house, while we were downstairs drinking some coffee. I heard footsteps as if someone was running downstairs but nobody was upstairs. I told my wife's grandma and she said she has heard them before, but has never been bothered by it. I was freaked out i usually don't believe on that BS until that happened.
