I'm just gonna say it (self serving as it is): I wanted to keep Anderson. Said so the time. Looks like moving Greg Smith for like a 2nd round pick and keeping Anderson would have been the smart play.

Not trying to be a downer, but it does look like a situation where Morey identified talent, but we didn't properly evaluate what we had relative to some of the other players on our team. Same thing happened with Jeremy Lin. It happens. Not the end of the word, but I do wish we had realized his value and kept him. We could have made a different trade off to clear salary for Dwight.

Right now, he's better than any back up wing. Hamilton included. Good size, can play d, and shoot the rock. Just saying I wish we coulda kept him. Are you saying that any of our backups are better than him now? Cassoulet, Garcia, and Hamilton all suck. Bad.

A few games ago Anderson was 1-10 from 3. It's unlikely he'd be consistently lighting it up if he was coming off the bench here.

We need Anderson to finish touring all the other 29 teams (or at least the playoff teams) before joining us. So he can light up on his former teams when we need him.

He is better at drawing foul on his way to the hoop now (like Harden does) as opposed of drawing contact when he's already in the air that lead to those painful to watch fall to the floor. It's a nice improvement to see.

I feel bad saying this....but the red rowdies were getting pretty annoying last night. They were making noise during Dwight's free throws and someone literally had to tell them to shut up to get them to stop. Thought it was common sense.... Like the spirit though.

I wonder if Lin takes mental notes from watching harden in practice everyday, like learning to stick your arms out on layups and snapping your head back wildly to show contact LOL

Lin mastered the head snap back before joining the Rockets, he just doesn't know how to create contact with his arms yet.

Only time he stretched his arm a tiny little bit, he got an offensive foul call.

Does anyone have the clip of Bill tricking Clyde into saying Sidney Lowe's name? I thought it was pretty hilarious.

    Could someone upload that? haha

 We've been looking for a backup wing since forever, and he didn't distinguish himself from the PT he's had or in practice, otherwise he would still be in the team. Sure he went off for 30 pts, but does he do this on a nightly basis? I don't think so, and Philly's pretty much tanking so they don't care if he keeps chucking all night.

I honestly don't think he's any different from Jordan Hamilton or Troy Daniels, I think if we give them the same PT they'll put up the same numbers so meh. At the time Greg Smith wasn't injured, and he's been a hard worker and a pet project of the Rox these past couple of years, NBA caliber backup big men are a more valuable asset than an NBA caliber backup wing player, you can get those from pretty much any D-League team.
