Worry about the first round first before looking at OKC and Clippers.

None of the bottom tier playoffs teams are sure wins.

You honestly can't be afraid to play any teams in the playoffs at this point

every team in the west right now have the ability to beat us in the playoffs, there's no point being cute with the seedings.

End the thread with this comment. The Rockets need to beat the Clippers at all costs. They need the confidence that they can beat them. It's exactly like our last meeting with OKC in the regular season last year. The Rockets beat OKC in a fantastic game last year, and the confidence from that game gave them the ability to really push OKC to the brink (along with PBev doin' us a solid ;)

IMO you never lose a game simply for purposes of seeding. But even if you do, you absolutely do not do that against the Clippers, or OKC.

If you are going to drop games, pull that sh** against teams like the raptors.

From here until the end of the regular season. the clippers and OKC games are absolutely the most important for the Rockets to win. No contest.

I'd add the spurs to the list as well. Losing to them can have the opposite effect as beating OKC/LA would.

The thought has crossed my mind, honestly. However, the Clippers haven't had any problem with the Rockets this season.

So, I think you try to win and let the chips fall where they may.

That said, I don't think that the Rockets should reveal any major adjustments that they are contemplating to the game plan against the Clips. Save those for a possible match-up in the playoffs.

Here's another thing. Aside from the obvious points that everyone has already stated about never throwing games b/c you should be ready to play everyone in the playoffs. I think anything could happen at any given moment. Last season we were in the drivers seat for the 6th spot and over the last few games fell so much. I don't think that is likely at all this season. But why take even a slight risk? Just go out and win every game.

    Another point:

We are very close to having home court advantage in the Finals against all East teams. As of now, we have it against Miami and are only two behind the Pacers in the loss column. Just win baby.

You need to stick to posting pictures of cupcakes...leave basketball analysis to others.

    Good find.

can anyone tell me, how in hell is it possible that the Heat have the same record as we do when they are in the Eastern Conference?
