This is the stupidest possible reason to draft a player.

 

I'm not opposed to drafting Johnny, but if we do, we better trade out of the #1 slot.

 

If the Texans think he is a potential franchise QB then you don't get cute. You take him #1.

 

One thing is for sure, Manziel's pro day put Bridgewater's to shame.

 

After today, the only Texan fans who are still hating Manziel are more than likelly T-Shirt Tow Truck Driving Longhorn fans affraid of what Johnny will mean to long term Texas A&M popularity for the Texan Fan Base. Don't let your hate come between the Texans and success now....

If the Texans don't draft Manziel, there's a good chance they will be very sorry every day for the next 10 to 12 years.

I honestly expected to hear Lin in there for Vince.. but I get what you are saying.

 

He has, and that's why I've backtracked on whether or not this guys is a 1st round talent (still not a #1 overall pick). I wouldn't mind trading back to Cleveland's spot so they can pick up Teddy (they were absent today) and get their other 1st rd pick and maybe swap 2nd rounders with them. If not just take Clowney and whichever QB of the big three (or medium three) is left there for us in the 2nd round. Teams still remember the Ponder/Locker/Gabbert fiasco so there's a good chance one is bound to fall.
