You know the answer to that. He's a heismann winner with very good athletic/arm talent that needs a lot of refinement with x&o aspects, he's good already with a ton of room for improvement where as TB is close to a finished product and Bortles is a similar mold of JF with room for growth but not near the production currently. That's the definition of upside.

Not to mention that JFF is much more dynamic in games...there is nobody like him in this draft as far as being someone who can give a defense fits. You cant really game plan against him because he can improvise as well as anyone, and he has the quickness and arm strength to pretty much do whatever is humanly possible on the field. He just needs to hit the film room in order to become an NFL stud. If he's coached up properly, he'll be one of the top QBs in the league. Whereas, a guy like Teddy doesnt really need to be coached up as much, so his potential is more limited....Teddy is the safer pick, JFF is the home run pick.

Can he pick up an NFL blitz? Everything else is there. Impressed with his desire to improve but this area scares me. Only way to measure this is with eyeballs and those aren't coming out favorably.

All he does is work hard and get better. He didn't just show up today. He worked his ass off for 3 months to get here. What makes people think you can't learn to pick up a blitz.

the mental game is not something that can be learned that easy, some people never do. You don't think Schaub has had time to learn how to pick apart defenses?

Give me the guy with the keen understanding of defenses.
