ClutchFans Game Thread: Sixers @ Rockets 3/27/2014

Let the bench play more. Conserve the core players for the playoffs. Let them play only to win the game.

 

Just let Harden, Parsons, and Dwight rest. Play Bev and TJ sparingly. Let Lin handle the ball and get more TOs. Perfect recipe for losing if you really want to lose.

 

Priorities from henceforth should be
- fine tuning details
- resting players to get healthy
- helping Lin and Asik to get in a groove

 

Should start Omer. Rest Harden also.

 

Early in the season these games were scary, not anymore.

don't think that way daryl this could be a trap game…..u know if we lost tonite and then win the rest of our home games, philly will be the only team we didn't beat this season…..btw daryl, love ur new soulglo product line :grin:

 

I have a very queasy feeling about this game. After 26 losses, sooner or later, a team has a really hot shooting night and shocks the hell out of somebody. Usually somebody who was resting their starters. Remember when we were, what, 20 points up on the Wizards, and in a few minutes Ariza busted the record for 3-pointers and we darn near lost that game? Imagine the Sixers going off like that in the 3rd, and now we've got only 1 quarter left to try to restore order.

But given where we are in the standings, I think I'd still rest the starters and take the risk. A loss would be humiliating, but not that costly.

 

Yea somebody like the Pistons on Saturday night. Not us.

 

Hinkie is a matchup nightmare for Morey, this will be a tough game

 

Win by 30 at least ...

That was because Harden decided to completely not care of about defending for the entire 3rd quarter . The ONLY thing Ariza can do is hit open 3s. If they read the scouting report at all, you would think after he hit like 7 in a row, they would force him to put the ball on the floor.

 

The only way this game is a trap game is that we win by 15 rather than 25..

 

Harden plays too many minutes, and Howard is banged up.

Play the other starters, run the offense through Lin. Harden be listed as a beard strain.

 

Sixers lose for NBA record tie - here we go!!!

 

Sixers going for that record....all I can say is we better not lose to them scrubs

 

Whenever we play against scrub teams, why do I get anxious and get in a bad mood?
