Even if he wasn't a really bad QB prospect IMO, I still wouldn't think that Manziel would have any chance of being picked by the Texans in the first round or any round. BOB's big thing is the "team first" mentality and the first thing he did was tear down any posters that emphasized any individual. Manziel is the poster boy for individualism over team mentality. I think that the decision to have his own pro day instead of doing it with the rest of his team would have taken his name off of the draft board if it was ever there to begin with. I might be reading too much into it, but when BOB is asked about if Manziel will have any private workouts with the team and he says "I don't think so. He's got his Johnny Day" I think he's letting his dislike of the situation show.
Honestly I would be disappointed with Bortles being our first pick but I have decided to trust Bill O'Brien at this point to at least give him and his regime a chance no matter who they pick.

Same here, I wouldn't be happy with a Bortles pick (or any first round QB to be honest) but I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt.
There are going to be a few hundred people at Johnny Manziel‘s pro day tomorrow as NFL scouts, coaches and executives evaluate the former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback and the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, of those in attendance will be President George H.W. Bush who spent some time with Manziel on Wednesday night. Manziel shared this photo with President Bush with his wife Barbara and his mother and father to his Instagram page on Wednesday. The caption read: “Incredible. Thank you Mr. President for giving my family and I the opportunity to spend some time with you and your lovely wife. Something I will remember forever and extremely excited you’ll be attending tomorrow.”
i think manziel has the fire to destroy his pro day (in a good way). regardless...we are going clowney in round 1, and the best qb available in r2...its just that simple.
No idea how he'll do but for sure to be talked about either way. May or may not be his script Spoiler <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>It's Pro Day for Johnny Manziel (<a href="https://twitter.com/JManziel2">@jmanziel2</a>) tomorrow.
