It's the regular season. Can a team that doesn't have a true superstar score enough points vs that historically great defense?' And no, the Nets or Bulls aren't it. It's Indy v. Miami in the ECF. Just book it already.
lmao...FT discrepancy:14-18 vs 7-7 at Indy Like i said, i'd be shocked if the NBA has anyone other than Miami win its third...its inevitable...
He's 3-7 for 8 points so far, but he gets credit for being 2-3 from distance. Now is whether he goes downhill from here, because that has happened many times in the past, especially if Lebron decides to start guarding him seriously.
Their defense if great but can it make up for their inept offense at this point, especially with George really struggling.
Even if George has a great game, I think it's been decided that Harden is the better player now. Harden seems to have taken the step that everyone thought George took earlier in the season. Hibbert though. I like the 17 points but 1 rebound?! You've got to be kidding me. How can you be a legit 7 footer and only have 1 rebound against a team where you're height is the most dominate thing about you. Such a weak rebounder..
their offense was worse last year when George wasn't the player he is today. They have enough to get to the ECF. They won't beat the Heat unless George plays like how Hibbert dominates the Heat.
The key is George. If George doesn't start playing better, they won't only not have a chance against the Heat, I don't think they can make it to the ECF.
Are the Spurs ever going to lose again? My word! They are rolling through everybody. Leading Denver by 15 in the first half, 50 to 35 with 5 min. to go.
Playoffs are a 7 game series, not one game. Which team besides Miami can beat Indy 4 out of 7? Fans take the regular season games way too seriously. Teams game plan differently in the playoffs, and you have ample rest. Indiana would absolutely shut down any team offensively not named Miami in the East.
It's actually shocking to see Lebron getting these calls. He's getting the Durant and Harden treatment. Usually Lebron goes to the line like 4-5 times nowadays.
I like Bron them boys....but I agree...I just don't see how Silver and the league will allow the Pacers to advance to the finals...especially if its close...same goes for the Spurs..albeit in their case...they are not really better than the Thunder...ESPN and the league are clearly trying to re-create Bird vs Magic...and thus need Durant and Lebron front and center...but the Clippers would also be ideal.....
How can the Pacers beat anyone 4 out of 7 scoring 70 to 80 points? Pacers and Miami are still odds on favs to meet in ECF but I don't trust that offence right now especially the way George is currently looking. For the Pacers sake, he needs to step it up or they are in trouble.
Lebron gets to the line 7.3 times a game while Harden gets 8.5 so about a 1 FT difference. Houston plays at a much higher pace than Miami so they get more offensive possessions per game too.
