Yes, the $3 tip is cost prohibitive on my $26 meal. Of course if I wanted to be waited on I wouldn't go to a cafeteria.
Maybe you shouldn't go there if you don't have any cash. Go to McDonald's they take credit cards and you don't need to tip there.
There are far too many Asians at my local McDonald's. I just don't feel comfortable going there. bahahahahaha
Says the guy who doesn't tip lol. Cheap-O You should at least tip the black servers. I understand if you don't tip the white or asian servers.
At least you get to eat in a quiet environment because everyone around you is older and whispers. Besides, we used to go there for the fried fish. It does get frustrating waiting in that line moving at a snail's pace, though. But, I'll be 83 years old for a trip to Luby's if I want to...poopyhead.
Hmm...I tip every server I come across in the food line and then tip at the table when I leave. I have crumpled up dollar bills in the line. They serve me a food item...I throw a crumpled dollar bill at him/her. Sure, I'm out about ten bucks when it's all said and done...but I aim for the face and I like their reactions when they get hit with it after I throw it at him/her. As if... .
If you don't want to look like and or feel guilty for being a cheap ass, don't eat somewhere you think it would make you look bad for not tipping. Or make sure you pick up a little cash before you go in there so you have something on you to tip with. If 3 bucks wrecks your finances, go find a better paying job.
the hell is wrong with some of yall? Luby's a is a Texas institution. - Chicken Fried Steak - Fried Fish - Mac and Cheese - Fried Okra - Rolls All go hard at Luby's. You know who doesn't like Luby's? Spoiler al qaeda
It still bothers me. Yes, they've made changes over the years that bother me a great deal. I first started going to "Luby's" when it was Romana Cafeteria on Buffalo Speedway, and I don't like the changes at all. It's not like I would eat there all the time, but it was a nice place to relax and read a novel, while stuffing my face with the fried fish, mac and cheese, and whatever green veggie looked good. A couple of rolls, iced tea, and perhaps a slice of pie usually did the trick. After not leaving anything for quite a while in protest of the death of the revered ice tea lady, I finally started leaving a few quarters if the wait person was polite and attentive, without being obnoxious. Some things are best left alone.
Yes, all the time. I used my cell phone, a camera system, and strategically placed loudspeakers. Glad you noticed.
Damn man, you a prick. If a were a waiter and you acted like that I'd rather you stick your money where the sun don't shine.
Granville you seem to lack the self-awareness that your posts on this board are like a steady stream of diarrhea.
