As soon as they don't record 3 points in a game it will be Liverpool's title to lose. But yes City control's their own destiny as of this second with only the league to worry about
Nope. I still think it's City's to lose... then a Chelsea and Pool trailing very closely. Pool has 8 more games and 5 of those 8 games will not be easy. We face Chelsea and City (thank God at Anfield) next month and then Crystal Palace and Sunderland who will have their backs against the wall going all out to fight against relegation. The other one is the Spurs and I don't think they'll be an easy match up since they'll be gunning for that 4th spot. Pool's "you scored 3 on us? We'll score 4!" style makes me nervous. Leaky defense, offense on steroids. It worked for Blackburn last decade, but I dunno if that can be repeated. What happens when our SAS hits a dry spell?
It is City then Pool. Chelsea and their style do not play to win. City and Liverpool going for it one will win
lol Chelsea doesn't play to win? is that why they are at the top of the table with a handful of games left, not to mention already beating both Liverpool and City?
They are extremely fortunate to have come away with 3 points in many games. Their style is not exciting but it is effective that is why they will probably be in the Champions league final again. Over the course of a 38 match BPL schedule it will be tough. If Pool wins today they are a point back with Chelsea at home
I think Liverpool needs to win that game period if City just gets a result I think they win the league
Yeah, Bayern is pushing this now. The two guys in charge of that are friends of mine. Previously, that was some journalist's job who once wrote a positive article about Hoeness and therefore got offered that job and had it for like 20 years. He is still around. That's how Hoeness used to run the club.
^^This plus German teams haven't won ECL in recent years ( aside from last year of course) It also helps to have Messi, Iniesta, CR7, Neymar, Bale.. Before that Ronaldinho, fat Ronaldo, Beckham, Rivaldo, etc..
I'm rooting for Arsenal for their next game vs City. Aside from City, Arsenal's schedule doesn't seem all too difficult. Manchester City Everton West Ham Hull NUFC West Brom Norwich Everton is probably the only team that can give them fits after City. Would love for Pool to have this schedule.
United We Fall. Must read for any Man United fan. Brilliant article. http://www.slate.com/articles/sport...manager_to_blame_for_the_club_s_collapse.html
Sounds pretty dead at Old Trafford. You could hear a plane fly by over the crowd. It's a really boring game so far aside from that amazing free kick by Westwood. Great foul by Rafael, always so reliable.
