ClutchFans Game Thread: Sixers @ Rockets 3/27/2014

Im still so pissed over that loss earlier this year... It seems like former rockets players always have their career highs against us.... that being said, if we don't win by more than 30, then it still feels like we lost the game

 

it's a trap game for sure. They will come out swinging hard because this game will determine franchise history for longest losing streak in NBA

 

I don't expect this to be an easy game at all. The 76ers are playing to avoid an all time NBA losing record. NO player wants their name on that.

Never underestimate the power of Shame to motivate an entire team to play above their heads. I expect them to come out HARD. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they pull out an upset.

You know what they say about cornering wounded animals...

 

but, but, DMo ain't afraid of wolves . . . much less wounded ones...

 

I hope history doesn't repeat itself. :grin:

 

Just come out focus and take any NBA team seriously, it should be a W.

 

5th game winning streak here we come ....

 

Indeed big timer. Pride is at stake here and they come out blazing. But our Rockets will answer the call and put this team away in the 3rd.

OKC is the opposite of a trap game.

Well, THAT didn't last long.

 

Classic trap game.

We won't play defense and scrubs will go off. Dwight will suck in the post. Harden will jack up bad shots while Lin turns the ball over repeatedly. Terrence Jones will disappear and the entire team will be disinterested... and we will win by 15.

Seriously, an NBA team has to play so bad to lose to this team I don't even know if they can trap opponents. Not exaggerating even a little when I say the worst 5 we could put out there would be better than their best 5.

 

Philly games are notorious in Rocket's history. Earlier this year is a good example. Scrub players go for career nights, upsets are common, etc. etc. This is the ULTIMATE trap game of the season. Perfect set up. Anderson goes for the NBA record in points, record losing streak ends, Rockets are humiliated. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!! No excuses, everyone should see this coming.

 

Can McHale get away with pulling a Popovich here and resting Harden and Dwight? Our bench might suck too much.

 

Here we go again with practices being more dangerous than actual games. Dwight should sit out the Philly game anyway. They can win easily with Asik starting in his place.

 

Anyone is going to this game? Like to meetup with some CF members before the game.

Actually Philly was playing well early this season. They were leading their division for a while. Anderson is no scrub, you should know better about it, he was a rocket last season, always love his game since his college days, still think we should play him more and keep him.
