Haha I remember that play. Beverley actually came through the ball, and once it popped out of Lebron's hands Beverley's arm came down right into Lebron's face.

Not sure he knows what reverse psychology is:grin:

I love him as a player, a hardnosed defensive pg who can shoot the three is ideal for our team.

If we could find the PF version of Beverley we would be set.

Speaking of which, I have a suspicion that the Rockets will try and bring back Battier this offseason which would just tickle my fancy. Beverley could learn so much from Shane.

Reverse psychology would be to leave his man open so that he would go, "Uou want me to take this shot? **** you, I am not gonna take it!"

Do you guys think he has a shot at getting this done this year? I feel like he will eventually earn a defensive team nod or three before his career is done but I'm not sure he has enough recognition to make it this year. What do yall think?

Is pesky good as a starter playing 30+ minutes a game? There are not many games where Beverley has held a quality PG below his pts or FG%. Anyone take a look at Parsons' dip this month? Seems to correlate well with Beverley's increase in minutes.

Remember Bev's comment about Lillard that people didn't like RE game prep. He clarifies and it makes sense to me:

Would love to see him earn an all defensive team award. He's up there for sure. Maybe next year with more exposure.

I know you don't like him, but to imply he's responsible for other players' shooting slumps is other level. How do you explain all of the games prior to Parsons' current slump when Bev played 30+ minutes and Parsons put up big numbers?

He's the player you absolutely hate when he's not on your team, but absolutely love when he's on it.

And can we please get Bev on one of those Aloe Blacc "I'm the man" commercials with OKC fans screaming at him as he's on the bus?

Dude, we all know what's your agenda! Take that BS to one of the several other threads.

This is a thread where we appreciate PBev for what he offers and it's not a comparison thread.

....I'm not sure what you really expect out of him. I seem to remember quite well what he did to Chris Paul in LA.

Also, listen to what you're saying. "Quality PG's." When you say that I'm expecting you mean Talented Point guards. Well, talented point guards are going to get theirs the majority of the time. His job is to do anything possible to contain them somewhat.

PBev is what happens when your balls turn to steel.
