Teddy looked and sound like a true leader on Gruden's qb show. Very impressive.

Listening to 610, I believe its Palillo (so?) at this hour, and they played a piece from BOB. He stated that he felt Teddy had a decent pro day. He said it wasn't as bad as people made it sound and he acknowledged that he showed improvement in his mechanics and footwork.

I think the decision is going to take up until April but they'll definitely make their decision based on what the players have skillwise/talentwise and will take long deliberation to pin point who they will select.

Sounds like they're doing their due diligence and beyond. I'm glad that's the case now.

Oh and he loves JJ Watt the football player. Says he can play anywhere on the field and will be used appropriately in the new defensive scheme. Yay!

Loved listening to that on my lunch break...that was good stuff from BOB.

Btw, it's MaD Radio with Mike Meltser and Seth Payne...they're my lunch time homies.

Ah, thanks. I usually catch them at the tail end of my lunch hour.

Did you hear about Daniel Jeremiah mocking Teddy to pick 20? He still has him as his #1 QB in his rankings. Puzzling when they do that.... at least to me.

Lance Z brought up something interesting that I never noticed about Teddy Bridgewater before, apparently, he's not good throwing to the left, and he's especially poor when on the move to the left. He also pointed out that he completed only 44.3% of his passes beyond 16 yards which shows that he struggles to make deep and intermediate passes.

    His "final analysis" was

What do you think Teddy fans? Fair or foul?

Stop looking at Teddy, Blake and Johnny. I listened to the MAD radio interview too and it sounds like he will start the season with FitzPatrick under center or at least go into training camp with him in mind as the starter. He will not take a qb early because of how confident he is in his ability to coach up a qb. Start focusing on AJ Macarron, Zach MettaSchaub and Jimmy G. Its gonna be one of those guys. Jimmy G is starting to look like the pick though, every sound bite about qbs he's making a point to say his name

That's pretty crazy, considering the number of teams that need a QB within the top 10 picks.

Well if BOB and Rick Smith are telling the truth about not thinking there is much separation between the top 10-12 QB prospects, then there would be no chance that they'd draft a QB, but they could potentially be just blowing smoke.

Personally, I agree that there isn't much difference between the guys they could get in the 2nd and the perceived top 3 or 4 QB's in the draft so I hope they are telling the truth.

A lot of what Lance says I take for a grain of salt, especially since he tries to pimp Johnny out to be this underrated "pocket passer" completely neglecting the top level prospects on the o-line he throws behind.

Not bad analysis, however Lance is skewing the stats in his further the Manziel agenda

Only time I have seen Bridgewater struggle is on the 25 yards and plus passes

" I see him float it too often over the middle and between the CB and the safety on the sidelines. These passes turn into negative plays on the next level."

    Thats a flat out lie

Only issue he was really spot on about was Bridgewater going to his left

Lance had a point -- the 2 deep shell defenses will give Bridgewater fits

Lance Vance doesn't take into account that Bridgewater takes what the defense gives him and the west coast offense he plays in

That may be the worst attempt I've seen at a joke since the last time I read a Swoly D post.

Polian said after watching Grudens camp with Bridgewater he remembers coaches and scouts telling him Montana had one of the worst pro days they ever seen and Pro days don't mean much.

Johnny is most definitely an underrated pocket passer...doesnt really have anything to do with the OLine he plays behind. The majority of people feel like Johnny gets most of his plays by running around and creating stuff, when in actuality, he's making the majority of his throws within the pocket and doing a good job. That's where the underrated part comes from.

I think Savage and Macarron are also possible plays later in the draft.

If I threw behind 3 top 5 olineman, I would look pretty dang good myself lol

If your starting at a major divison 1 program, there is a good chance you can make all the throws, its whether not you have the mental game to pick defenses apart and can you make those throws in the pocket under pressure

Neither I have seen from Mr. Manziel
