Nah...it's Quessenberry. Everybody forgets about him...but he's actually pretty good. He could solidify Wade Smiths position. That's Brown, Quessenberry, Myers, Brooks and...??? We currently don't have a decent RT, but other than that, solid O-line.
Well I wasn't saying that to knock Q in any way, I just think that Williams could be very good as a speed rusher and coverage OLB for us.
You're both wrong Brendan Williams is a monster on the o line. Just wait he may end up being our best lineman
Let's scoop Greg Robinson first pick, he will be the safest long term and will be a stud and then pick up Aj McCarron in the 2nd or 3rd. Everything else is just a crap shoot and we need to beef up our O-Line anyways.
He did not have "microfacture surgery" as we here typically know it (rockets and nba fans). He had a fracture, and then had surgery on it. It's a different procedure than the rehabilitative one we're used to seeing 30-somethings undergo in an effort to restore cartilage. He's young, he'll be fine.
I hope so, I had high hopes for him taking over the RT spot last year. I knew it wasn't the same as the one McGrady had, but it's still a major procedure.
A lot of people talk about getting the Browns 2 first rounders, but most likely the only offer for the #1 spot will come from the Falcons who have the #6 spot and REALLY want Clowney to help fix their defense. Is it worth trading down to #6 for future first round picks and maybe the 5th pick in the second round this year?
That's a very tough call...I think I would need something more immediate instead of future picks. Like #6, #37, and #68...as well as their 2nd rounder next year (if not 1st).
There is no point in trading down and risking one of the big 3 if we have plans of taking a QB with pick #6...If we trade down to the Falcons spot, I think it's safe to say that the assumption is being made that they can find a closely comparable QB later in the draft. Now, if a Teddy B drops to 6, then you take him, but I dont think it should be set in stone to take a QB for sure at #6.
Good to hear, alot of ppl have been misdiagnosing the big fella. John Harris from the chronicle was on the radio talking about the line the other day and said he was recovering well from microfracture surgery. Glad he was wrong. I have alot of confidence in the guy after seeing how well he played in college, 6'6, 315 he's gonna be a load to deal with.

I hope this is actually what they believe and not just lip service. It's so hard to tell in this day and age, though. I think you take the best player available no matter what your needs are for that particular year. Unless you are on the verge of winning a SB. And we are not on the verge of winning a SB.
Stop looking at Teddy, Blake and Johnny. I listened to the MAD radio interview and it sounds like he will start the season with FitzPatrick under center or at least go into training camp with him in mind as the starter. He will not take a qb early because of how confident he is in his ability to coach up a qb. Start focusing on AJ Macarron, Zach MettaSchaub and Jimmy G. Its gonna be one of those guys. Jimmy G is starting to look like the pick though, every sound bite about qbs he's making a point to say his name
