Just my quick observation if I may....I don't get both sides of the fence with the discussion about Lin. All I know is this..he has been playing well recently and he has been a much needed scoring punch from the bench for this team. But the so called LOH's are quick to point out his mistakes and his missed shots. Do you expect a bench player to be scoring 20+ points and 7+ assist per game? Do you know any bench players that do that? The so called LOF's expect Lin to be playing 32+ min per game and blame other ppl in the team if he has a bad game etc.. Do you know any bench players that avg 32+ min per game? Just take it as it is, his a very important piece to this team and has been one of the main reasons for our 47 wins in the season. You can say that he probably is over paid to be playing from the bench? Maybe, but that's just the way things worked out that fits best for the team. If the team thinks down the track his too expensive of a luxury to be playing off the bench, then the team can worry about that down the track, but the main focus should be NOW. Anyway carry on.
No don't you get it it's okay to crap on Lin because he isn't Dragic and LOFs are the bane of cfans so it's okay to crap on one of our own players because haha suck it LOFs ........... right
None of the coaching staff care about that, they love Beverley defense he only kept Walker at 22 points.
Lin also have much heart and emotion that seemed to be lacking from Rocket guard starters -- are we seeing a changing of the guard..?

Yea but while if Bev doesn't put up numbers given how many minutes he's out gifted and often has questionable decision making, guys never seem to "explode" on him offensively. Sure most nights they'll do beyond their season average but that's partially due to rockets pace of game. So clearly he's an at least an average defender even if like many say he's slightly overrated. And he had a nice dunk on the heat. Which is more than lin can say lol. Besides, It's not all about stats and +/- and W/L as a starter. I like Bev and I want him to start and so does mchale so that's final.
I like Bev and I'm fine with him starting. He is a good outside shooter. I think that is more the reason he is starting than this defensive myth. If Lin was a 40 percent catch and shoot from beyond the arc he would be starting. But I checked the box score tonight and I find it unacceptable on some level that Bev played 34 minutes and had 0 assists. I mean... literally everyone else on the team had assists. Omer Asik played 15 minutes and had an assist. That is just crazy. Seriously. Am I on crazy pills or what? Did no one else notice this?
Beverley has started since pre-season, and it's because of his energy on defense. Shooting from the outside is the weakest part of his game. Lin could shoot 60% from 3 and still wouldn't be starting.
Reasonable point. Even Jamal Crawford and Taj get around 28-30min. But I feel Lin should get a little more than 20 min when he plays well. If he doesn't play well then I can see he should be on the bench.
Not sure, but it's irrelevant when it comes to determining who starts at point. Last time I checked, for the saeson Beverley was just over 35% and Lin was around 34%.
I'm sorry Razsan but be prepared for u might be labelled an LOF later on ....u got a point there when u say that the team has grown too dependent on Harden/Howard that they struggle a bit to get their offense going whenever the 2 are not at their best during a game.. OTH, one of the reason that Lin works well with D-Mo is because D-Mo is moving and covers their rotation quite well....
