So is this debate over already...? we call all agree that the beard is way better than chucker George and it's not even close, and what is really scary is that Harden hasn't reached his full potential ye and he has alot of rooms for improvement and only 24, I mean aren't we lucky or what..?
Not nearly as impressive of a feat in the leastern conference. Hell it's not a stretch to think The Rockets could lock up the #1 seed playing in that conference.
He is a chucker. A chucker is someone who shoots low percentage shots at high volume. Currently that's George. The shots he take are low percentage shots. And he shoots a lot of them. Now, he is young and Indiana's offense IMO is just as ugly as any in the league. So it might not be his fault. But production wise, he's a chucker.
to me, a chucker is a one dimensional player. I think george is too good at other things to be called a chucker.
This is PG'S first year of being the man. He is young as well and will get better. Once he becomes consistent offensively he will be scary good too ryano.
Actually, this is his 2nd. PG took the most shots and scored the most points for his team last season. There is little chance he will ever become a consistent offensive threat. He has never demonstrated any consistent offensive potential in his previous seasons, and his first 2 months stretch of this season was the best offense he ever played (and he has sucked the next 3 months ever since). People are way too caught up with his unsustainable production early on this season that they forget he has struggled for most of the season by now.
PG did not play in the WCF. If we played in the East, the odds of getting to the ECF is a lot higher than playing in the west and that is one of the main reasons they got there last year.
Agree Harden is an alpha, but you're too hard on LeBron. He doesn't have the scoring mentality of Harden, Kobe (to a fault), or MJ, but he's better in other areas compared to those same players.
He was not the focal point last season flam. Also dude is only what 24-25, so yes sir his game can improve if he continues to work on it. Didn't we not see a nice jump in Parsons offensive game. PG shows me that hunger and desire to get better. This has nothing to do with his play earlier this season.
The Rockets are 22-5 in the East this year, and would probably be the #1 or #2 seed in that conference this year. Getting to the Finals in the East is not nearly the same as getting there in the West.
I think he compares well to Artest in his prime. Great defender, streaky shooter, can drive occasionally to the rim. Still a All-star player in this league...but with the elite players? I don't know...I wouldn't be surprised if other young east stars get that valuable playoff experience and pass him by next year, like a guy like Wall.
