Barkley: NBA is the worst as it's ever been. ... They struggle against Mercer and Stanford, they're gonna struggle against grown men. ... Stay in school.

Wiggins doesn't suck the guy averaged 17 points on the season which most seniors don't average and he's also a very good defender.

Today was a struggle for him for sure but at the end of the day he is still a freshman. The success of other freshmen has really made people forget what it is like to be a typical freshman.

It's not his fault that people hyped him up as the best HS player since Lebron.

as a canadian and wiggins supporter, it was painful to watch this game, it wasn't the stats, it was his demeanour...this guy was more passive than jeremy lin at this worst, at least when lin defers, its to harden, wiggins is deferring to guys who aren't going to the NBA

that may be true, but even in defeat durant dropped 30 pts...his team was garbage, wiggins didn't even want the ball...i know its a zone and u gotta adjust abit, but he didn't even try attacking the zone a little bit

    1) Team game 2) Neither teams had true on the floor leaders to calm down the rookies. This is why 1 and done is, IMO, ruining CBB. I want this talent to be able to grow together. All parties will only benefit except players leaving $$ on table.

So it would have been better if none of these guys had the chance to play college ball? (as it was under the previous rules)

I agree he is very passive.

But he is a freshman at the end of the day.

And Stanford too? I have never seen you like this.

I wonder if this entire draft class is overrated or mis-rated, y'all? Would be hard for me to put a #1 or #2 draft pick on Parker or Wiggins right now. I can't think of a single transformative NBA star who ever completely disappeared in a tournament game. Think of what Wade, Carmelo, Durant, Olajuwon, Jordan, Bird and Magic did in the tournament. Competed, scored. Maybe lost some games but only after being damned impressive, right?

Carmelo actually won it all his freshman year, didn't he?

EDIT: I know someone mentioned Durant getting knocked out of the tournament early, which is true, but CHECK his stats:

30 pts, 9 boards, LOL. Dude came to play.

Randle's stock is going to rise if Kentucky can get over Wichita State. Isn't he the only high-profiled freshman still left in the tournament?

You can't even sneeze on Wichita St.

Meanwhile everytime a UK player has their hands straight up it's a foul call smh

Who didn't have a chance to play college ball under the previous rules? It would certainly be better for colleges and their coaches to not have as many one-and-dones running around because they can actually develop a team. It would be better for the players because they don't have to be somewhere they don't really want to be.

They should adopt some kind of version of the baseball rule. You go straight out of high school, or you go to college for 2-3 years.
