Regardless of the reasons, poor play, especially dramatically inconsistent play is going to be criticized. Injury or not. Especially when injuries seem to happen so often that they become a regular excuse.

We saw this as a huge knock on Yao and T-Mac. They were both criticized heavily due to being injury prone. When you use injuries as an excuse every time a player slumps then by definition they are injury prone.

That being said though I really like how Lin in playing now. I love when he's aggressive. Sure he'll make some boneheaded plays now and then. But oh well, he brings a lot to the table when he's healthy, confident, and aggressive.

    Yep, Lin is a joke.

Now, can the mods give me some of those bonus points?

Clutch since you are not keen in locking this thread...then just make it as a Sticky Thread so that it can be easily monitored....and then 5 years from now we will commemorate the day that this Thread was born here in CF....By then, we can fully determine if who will be the victor on this on-going war. Will it be Lin's Haters , Lin's fans or True Rockets fans....until then, keep the flames burning...lalalallalala..

It's almost like watching Battier's last season. Everytime he would shoot I would think please make it. I think Lin is gone in the offseason to pick up someone who has midrange and can take some of the pressure off Harden.

He couldn't throw it in the ocean last night. Wildly inconsistent. For being a very smart guy he makes some very ill advised passes. Everyone has off nights but he has got to get his game together this offseason.

Yao wasn't injury prone. He got injured by Tim Thomas .
Look at Yao when he was with Steve Francis. Healthy. First three seasons he played at least 80 games .

Tracy Mcgrady in the other hand, never has played 80 games in the regular season ever.

You can trust my stats, I won't lie to you Lin fans.

Yao was not injury prone? You are in an island of one and delusion. He played year round for a good portion of his NBA career and his body couldn't take it. I love Yao but his last couple of seasons I was just waiting for the news saying that Yao broke something and is out for the season.

*Although I laughed when you brought up Tmac. Only you could turn a thread that is as far removed as possible from Tmac about him. I want to hang out with you and see if you do that with other aspects of your life. Like if you go to a restaurant and get a bad waiter, I hope you make a remark like, "This waiter is not cutting it.....like Tmac was in the postseason". I don't know why but I like to imagine you have a room with Tmac pictures with the eyes cut out plastered on your wall like Ray Finkle's room in Ace Ventura. Instead of Laces out written everywhere its Its on me and the Toronto game played on loop on a projection screen.

I`m not sure if he`s ever gonna get better. He`s limited physically. He`s athetic and fast, but can`t really out muscle or out jump most guards because he`s Asian. (Just Kidding.)

He`s not really a good shooter and an average defender. He`s getting paid like a starter, except he`s not.

I love the Rockets, so I really like Lin as well. He just hasn`t lived up to my expectations and I`m sure not Morey`s either.

Maybe because it works like a lightening rod.... keeping the game threads more sane and readable?

Im sure the traffic this thread brings doesnt hurt. All lin threads, automatic rise in traffic. No matter how stupid or flame baiting. Keeps most trolls out of the better threads im sure. Why would Clutch lock this up? It gives his site more attention

Catch basin for the MINORITY OPINION. The poll above verified it and the admins confirm why this thread still exists. This is not a direct response to you but relevant to your question.

who cares about Lin haters. Not everyone will like Lin, there's bound to be a few, so why get so worked up over the few that dislike Lin? wasting board space back and forth with the argument.

But I guess some people just like to argue and after all it is the internet, as someone said there is no such thing as winning an argument on the internet. although one poster did try to take outside at starbucks for a knife fight...

Actually it wasn't Yao's knee which ended his career, it was his foot.

Wtf, Tim Thomas? Smh, that's nonsense. Yao's left foot injuries predated his right knee injury involving Thomas.

I don't watch a lot of highlight videos, but I'm pretty sure this is the first one I've seen that show a guy knocking a pass out of bounds.

are you going to turn this thread into a lin highlights thread?
if the mod allows this, then we don't need to argue with lin haters, just put all the Jlin highlights in here, also Pat Beverley's highlights, James harden's highlights...
