~fixed~ As bad as the CAVs are as a team, they have some good size with Verejao, Tristan Thompson, and Zeller. That front court lineup can beat a lot of teams with the right coaching. Fortunately, their coach was Mike Brown tonight.

I feel like I watched this game from last season because of no Dwight Howard and a lot of same players. Anyway, great win and I hope Dwight is fully healed and ready to play soon. Go Rockets!

I don't know how disciplined you expect guys to be when they rarely see the court, one a rookie seeing his first meaningful minutes.

That will happen as soon as Howard gets back.

I'm glad that McHale decided to stick it out with the bench in the fourth quarter even when they were blowing out a 29-point lead.

The bench need to gel and get in order for the playoffs. They haven't got much chance playing together until recently when the starters built up enough lead in the first three quarters.

Just hope they would learn a lot from all the mistakes and weaknesses exposed. Growing pains for any team to mature.

We are ahead of the schedule to become a title contender.

Just take it easy and enjoy the games as a fan.

Fans are just crazy. It's bad now that we are good because we didn't get Rondo.......yet !

    Go Rockets !

Plus I think we need to start moth-balling JHarden for the playoffs.

I dont think we can catch the Clippers and I dont think the Blazers
    can catch us.

Am just fine with the #4 seed.

We're beating the teams that we should beat, and what a refreshing change that is! Harden? The guy is amazing.

We need the 3rd seed to play the blazers. They are in freefall and will practically be a sacrificial lamb come PO time.

When Howard comes back, McHale should start experimenting playing Lin, Asik, Dmo and two other players from the bench together in less important games or when enough lead is built in the first three quarters.

The Spurs beat the Warriors handily without Duncan and Ginobili tonight because they are a 10-deep team. Mark Jackson said there's a lot to learn from the Spurs post game.

With the offense philosophy that Morey and Les want for the Rockets, I am convinced that it's less important to have superstar point guard than to have a deep bench of good role players for this team.

Rockets are tied for 5th most wins in the league. Sadly, the Spurs are almost a lock to win the division, but a top four seed is still gettable. That would mean home court in the first round, maybe even beyond, which would be about as successful a regular season as we could have hoped for.

This. Why do we have two good scorers still in the valley when they could be here playing off the bench. They would flourish in the time that the bench is getting now.

Did you see how canaan played? Jordan Hamilton played a couple of nice games and regressed. They need time to gel. they are all good players.

He played fairly well but could not sink his 3 attempts (2 from 3pt). He was playing SF and didn't get the ball to the corner. As a SF he takes very few shots. However, he was keeping 7 footers like Zeller and Hawes quite well in D.

I agree with you. The starters have played a lot of minutes all season long and it shows. They work well together. The bench has played limited minutes together especially as they have mostly been substituted to all kinds of lineups. A typical problem of a team that is young and many were not with the team last season. When the team has a 30 pt lead, it is difficult for the bench to really focus on the basics. When the playoffs start, they will take it seriously.

Casspi played well ? He was shaking, he couldn't pass, shoot(all his shots were short like the ball was heavy) or play defense. McHale made him a favor and kept him in the game ... Dmo should have replaced him.

Makes scoring 37 points look easy.. Insane.

    Severely underrated basketball IQ.
