My eye test confirmed Harden played terribly, therefore Harden had a terrible game.

The eye test also confirmed that he had a bad shooting night and didn't really run the team as is expected.

    Anyway the Rockets won

I made a general statement that the bench besides DMo played bad and some LOF comes in defending Lin

Anyway i'm done. Cheers to all

    Am happy that we won.

It's a night for upsets. Lots of them.

    Pacers, Blazers and the Heat(!)
Maybe the Spurs will lose too.

Am glad we're not one of them (the upsets).

Lin did not shoot the 3 well, other aspects of him were fine, did you see the misses by asik and parsons, those were easy layup misses, otherwise those would have been Lin's assists...
If you count the and1 and wipe out the terrible call, the shooting would have been 4/10, plus 3 more free throws... you can disregard the free throws the in garbage time...
he defended well, hustled for loose balls, even blocked a zeller's putback,

Some people dont actually _watch_ the match in order to comment on it.

They may be following it, but not watch it visually.

Lin did pretty much all the rebounding by the bench, 6 of a bench total of 7.

He should have better command on the bench. He didn't get much chance to build his chemistry with the backups on court. McHale needs to address this during practice time.

Waiters is the 2nd/3rd scoring option.

For everyone who's freaking out over the blown lead, you know what happened in the Cavs' last game? They were getting destroyed at home against OKC by 24 points. They proceeded to cut the lead all the way down to 5 before losing by a final margin of 7. Tonight they were getting destroyed at home against the Rockets by 29 points. They proceeded to cut the lead all the way down to 7 points which was also the final margin.

In other words, these things happen in the NBA.

Absolutely agreed. They are the number one upsetting team for this season.

Next one coming. The Bobcats just slaughtered the Blazers 124-94 tonight.

Look like we all need to have a stronger heart to let the bench play together more to build chemistry and gain more experience.

    Growing pain maybe.

Amen! Some posters think it's just the Rockets who can't hold a big lead.

That is an untrue statement at its best. The Heat just lost to a scrub team tonight. So by your theory they are not a championship caliber team. Go back in history and you will see that damn near every championship team has either lost to scrub teams as well as give up big leads.

These are professional teams and it was our bench that relinquished the big lead we had.

The 94 Rockets only won 47 games, were they a championship caliber team?

hahaha . . . if showing well in preseason is mojo, then maybe he has...

offtopic: watching spurs/warriors. wow spurs playing with a lot of movements. no parker/no duncan/no ginobili on the floor, but they work like a machine.

warriors game are mostly 1:1 and pull-ups. spurs are like zipping the ball. huge contrast.

I personally believe the Spurs have the best offensive schemes in the NBA. Their use of screens, picks, cuts and ball movement is unmatched by anyone.

Given their age and talent, they would be nowhere near the best team in the NBA without Pops at the helm.
