My list: 1. Beard 2. Parker 3. Duncan 4. Dwight 5. Dirk 6. Chandler Bang 7. Kawhi Leonard 8. Ginobili 9. Monty Ellie 10. Dare I say Marco Belinelli?
Even at his age, Duncan's PER rankings have been better than Dwight's over the last few seasons. I can't stand Duncan and his incredulous facial expressions after each foul against him, but he's truly in rare air among big men that have ever played.
How about best NBA players FROM Texas: 1) Bosh 2) LMA 3) Deron 4) Okafor? 5) Gerald Green? 6) WHO AM I FORGETTING??????
DeAndre Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Ronnie Price, Quincy Acy, and Kendrick Perkins, but he doesn't really count.
How? Harden is clearly the best, and Parsons is probably better than Kawhi or Manu. And I didn't even put Dwight over Duncan. If it was a true homer list I would've had Asik or Lin in there too
Lol trust me. I'm not a Spurs fan at all. I could've put Asik or Lin or even Vince Carter, but Belinelli's shooting efficiency is off the charts. Asik is most probably a better player, but in terms of production and impact you can't put him there
If you hold shooting efficiency so dear, then you ranked Dirk too low. PPG = 21.5 in 32 mpg PER = 23.6 TS% = .598 and he's very close to posting his second 50 - 40 - 90 year You might be underrating Dirk's year this year.
Dirk's having a fantastic year. He's an all time great. But he's not better than the four I mentioned before him.
I'm going to say Dirk is better than Howard this year. imo, Dwight's defense doesn't offset Dirk's offensive superiority. I'd even say, the Rockets would have a better record right now with Dirk vs Howard. He's just too perfect of a fit with Harden.
