Putin is losing The Ukraine, the Russian heartland, NATO on his border. His economy is crashing. He will assume the financial responsibility for another vassal State. He is pissing off more indigenous Muslims. He is speeding up efforts to reduce his energy hegemony hence his future income. How is this a Putin win?

The gang frequently went skinny dipping at Pale Face Park on Lake Travis on weekends after a drive up from Houston, so I had many fond gazes at her loveliness. My buddy was devastated when she moved on. Fortunately, I hooked up with her briefly after they split up. We ran into each other at a record store on the corner of South Shepard and W. Alabama, which was in my neighborhood at the time. Turned out that we had shared a mutual curiosity about each other for a couple of years. Sorry for the derail! Fond memories.
