Yeah, B-. A contending team trades an all star caliber player they didn't have to for two guys who are borderline rotation players.

I wonder how many opportunities to win a championship will be thrown away waiting for those two to develop?

I do agree that OKC didn't get raped in the deal as everyone makes it out to be. I am really high on Steven Adams - he's turning out to be a real stud. Big, mobile, athletic, tough and most importantly, he has a little mean streak in him which only belies the confidence he has in himself, which should bring him far in this league. Definitely a solid rotational piece, perhaps even a starting centre for OKC in the future. I'm not that sold on Jeremy Lamb but the jury is still out on that kid. Definitely has to develop a more consistent 3 point shot and gain some confidence. Maybe he would make a Reggie Jackson like leap in his third year.

But then again, Harden is no slouch either. Overall, we won that trade. But not by as much as everyone thinks. With the package we traded to OKC, Daryl Morey would've definitely been able to find a few gems in the draft anyway. And Linsanity might've hit H-town hahaha. Too many ifs.

Martin is gone..... Adams isn't bad. Lamb probably is the suck.

James Harden is top 7 in the league.

    We won large.

This post screams OKC fan in denial...

Not only did OKC give us Harden for scraps, but we got Dwight because of Harden as well. They inadvenrtantly created another Top team in the league while they gave up a Top 10 player for 2 rotational players at best. Referring to Steven Adams as a "real stud" is just silly.

Houston won the trade and it really isn't close at all. It's obvious.

Uh dude i'm a Rockets fan. But that's the problem with looking at it with the benefit of hindsight and with the assumption that Presti and Morey had equal leverage. Not sure what's with personal attack but do learn to spell before posting.

The trade itself wasn't bad, it was that OKC anointed the wrong player as the KD sidekick. If they had traded WB instead of Harden to us for that same package OKC would be the favorites to win this year. Better yet, if Presti hadn't extended Perkins to that horrible contract they could have afforded to keep all 3 and still have money to pay the rest of their role players.

    Noted for punctuation errors.

Denial? Houston got a top 5 player in this league for a bench scrub and a back up center.

    Stop.

    This.

Adams and Lamb are a dime a dozen. Nothing truly special about them.

Harden, on the other hand, is a true superstar who at times can takeover games in god mode.

The Harden trade was the largest grand larceny of this new century. Just to think, if OKC's owner had not been so cheap they could have just amnestied Perkins.

Thank you. It really is this simple.

I'll say it again: Rockets should put a bust of Sam Presti in front of Toyota Center. He deserves it. No other GM in NBA history has built two contending teams at the same time.

    Thank you OKC !!! Sincerely

At outset of two seasons ago, Jeremy Lin was supposed to be the guy to lead this team. We were butthurt about Martin lacking closing-ability, Scola was gone, Lowry was gone, Dragic was gone. Dwight was a pipe dream. Why would he? We were all set to tank for at least 3 years. Many of us were going hibernate on this team.

Then, gee-sus, lord, you OKC, you sent us James Harden for Martin and picks we don't even care. Oh, brothers in OKC, thank youuuuu. There outta be an award for the altruistic act you have showered us. Here is your medal!

Bill Simmons put it best ... OKC fans would just pay for any crap manage would have to offer, the highest ticket price for a small market, the Harden trade is legit ...
