http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5911/kendrick-lewis Texans signed FS Kendrick Lewis, formerly of the Chiefs. Those snickers you hear are coming from Chiefs fans who badly wanted Lewis to leave Kansas City after four unsuccessful seasons as a starter. Lewis, 26 in June, would be better off as a third safety and special teamer. In Houston, he's reuniting with old Chiefs DC and head coach Romeo Crennel. The Texans are believed to be mulling the release of longtime FS starter Danieal Manning. Mar 21 - 4:39 PM
KC didn't want him back, apparently. Seems like reasonable insurance against another Daniel Manning stint on the DL.
Manning may get cut... And I don't think Kendrick is "great" but he's better than the other two safeties on the roster.
LOL, sounds like chiefs fans couldn't wait to run him out of town... Maybe he'll end up being our Jacoby Jones?
The other two safeties are SS' s. Neither Manning, nor this guy, apparently, is going to move up into the box and hit anybody at the line of scrimmage.
From what I can tell, he was pretty much Shiloh Keo for the Chiefs, the safety that the fans love to hate. He's better than the rhetoric, but still not really good.
You mean like what DJ was doing last year... Lol... They still suxk... Hopefully they will pull one out the draft as well.

I'm not sure because I don't have a subscription, but I did read that Keo was rated the Texans' best safety last season....so there's that.
