I met him the other day the guy has a great personality he gave me tips on life etc..he's a great person..don't judge someone you have yet to meet
lol, we are talking about his opinion, not wether he is a good person. By most accounts it sounds like kubiak was a great individual, but doesn't change the fact that I thought by the end he was a horrible head coach and need to be fired. See how that works?
Wouldn't it be something if the Texans draft Manziel number one? Unlikely, but if so things would be so different. Electric! Naw, never going to happen.
He's one of the most exciting college athletes of all time, in any sport. It was basically Manziel University vs. ______ every Saturday. But the combination of his size and mentality (which made him fun to watch in college) will never work for a NFL team that wants a healthy, steady leader at quarterback.
thats why I want him to succeed. Whether it be on the Texans or another team (hopefully not in our division). Everyone is so dead against him being able to become a NFL player, I want to see him prove everyone wrong.
If we take him #1 it would bring excitement back to the Texans instantly! I'm all for drafting him #1 and rolling the dice!
And I feel certain he will. He just has magic….the next Fran Tarkenton or the first Johnny Manziel. I wouldn't bet against him.

The QB that just won the Super Bowl was a small guy that few thought could play in the NFL...so much so that he fell to the third round. As much as we want to make this into a science...it just isn't. Drafting players is still a calculated gamble.
Interesting take from Lance. Good to finally hear someone who is informed and who has watched all his games debunk a lot of the myths regarding Manziel. Can't throw from the pocket? Wrong. Isnt accurate? Wrong. Doesn't have an arm? Wrong. The biggest concern is his size and if he can stay healthy in my opinion. Outside of that, he is by far the best QB in this draft. Not perfect, but he only played two years of college. He still can get a lot better and learn a lot more.
The way it reads, I feel like he posted that from the wrong Twitter account, he meant to send that out as Tony the Hatchetman.
NFL.com is reporting the same three Houston Texans representatives who attended the pro days of Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater will also be at the pro day of Johnny Manziel this Thursday. The NFL.com article states: “The same trio that attended the pro days of Central Florida’s Blake Bortles and Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater – new head coach Bill O’Brien, general manager Rick Smith and quarterbacks coach George Godsey – will be on hand … They’ll also be meeting with Manziel afterward.” http://torotimes.com/2014/03/24/report-3-houston-texans-reps-appear-johnny-manziel-pro-day/?utm_source=FanSided&utm_medium=Network&utm_campaign=Around%20the%20Network
I think is all smokescreen. They won't take a qb in the first. If Manziel is there in the second I think they'll take him but I feel like O'Brien has fallen in love with Jimmy G, if that falls through I keep hearing him drop Logan Thomas and Savage. Macarron is also a possibility in my opinion
If they pass up the chance to draft one of the top three QBs in this draft only to pick up one of those guys in the second round, they should be fired and committed immediately.
