Agreed with both above me. This was not something to binge watch, it ruins the experience and the "playing detective" part throughout the week waiting for the next episode. Looking back, yeah a lot of us got WAY to into it looking for clues, but I admit it was fun.

I agree that I missed the ride and discussion that is part of the journey and fun, but that shouldn't define a great show that'll stand the test of time because that can only happen once.

The story-telling of this show wasn't that interesting to me to begin with. The investigation followed a sequential order, more or less. The mystery itself was about finding the man with the scarred face, who had 10 seconds of screentime before the viewers realize who it is. The 5 motif came up numerous times but we only got the one (I guess 2 if you count Tuttle).

If the show was able to connect the beginning players of the mystery to come full circle, I think it would've been great and mind-blowing. But the writer did say that it wasn't his plan to do so.

Waiting for LHF's approval or disapproval before bothering.

This shall pass without me even seeing the video. LHF is a fan of Oswalt.

    Approved.

Finished the whole season in one swoop last Saturday. Great show, can't wait for next season.

I'd prefer Pitt the in secondary role, like Harrelson played.

I was hoping Javier bardem and ted mosby could be on for next season, working to infiltrate that cartel cohle mentioned. you know the ones that cut off your penis and feed it to you. I guess I'm okay with brad pitt.

Does anyone know how much Matthew and Woody made? I never thought they got on it for the pay but for the fun of it, like when they do indie films.

It seems weird to talk about Pitt "replacing" McConaughey. I'm pretty sure the next installment of TD isn't going to have anything to do with this season. It's not just that Harrelson and McConaughey won't return. Pizzolatto has mentioned that next season might be about the "occult history of the U.S. transportation system".

If Cranston wins he should just go up there and say, "say my name".
