Haven't looked through this thread, but I'm sure it applies to someone in here by now.

I'm thinking of putting some dubstep on my ipod, any essential albums i should know of?

Even though most of the album is future garage, big room, glitch, trap and electro house Skrillex's new album is awesome especially this one! I also like F**k That but didnt want to post it b/c I don't wanna risk getting banned because of profanity.

what's new over the past year?

i'm putting together a dubstep playlist for a party in july. several of the songs listed in this thread will be used for sure.

 

Don't listen to it as much anymore but anything that's Getter or p0gman always bangs. It's a little grimey though.
