My analytic tells me every Lin TO = 15 pages.

 

Asik would be the starting center on 2/3's of the teams in the NBA. And defensively there aren't THAT many centers as good as Asik.

Dwight is certainly a better scorer, has better hands, is more athletic and is a better shot blocker, however I still believe Asik is more mobile, sets better picks, is a better PnR help defender, and has better defensive fundamentals (stays down, moves his feet exceptionally well, and stays vertical the vast majority of the time).

If you need to alter shots, Dwight is your guy. However if you need to counter a big with any kind of range (can pull you out of the paint), I'll take Asik. And it's much easier to get space off an Asik pick than a Dwight pick. It's just too bad his hands aren't better... if he ever gets his hands to a high level, he'll be a monster in the PnR.

 

It is hard for them to find excuses to troll when Lin had double-double 10a/11p and 1TO.

Great game by Adelman and his hand picked free agents Budinger and Martin... Man the Rockets really miss them.

 

This is why I feel Dwight is a very minor upgrade if at all vs Asik.

Dwight is a good defender around the rim but Asik's PnR defense is elite. He sets much better screens and doesn't eat up offensive possessions.

Dwight is the better scorer, but his scoring isn't really needed. Rockets have no problems putting up points.

 

Always knew he would improve (didn't say that), just thought he way going to end up being a young KOBE "hawg" instead he's showing more of a young WADE game this year, playing at the pace of the team, but taking over when he feels the need to or when the team needs him to

The ISO was a problem. lets not act like it was never lol. Dude is ISO CLUTCH this year.

 

How many fans complain Harden's TO?

 

I'm optimistic about Lin's turnovers. He's averaging two a game the last ten games. And thats with a 5 and 4 turnover game in there. So... at the least he's trending in the right direction.

 

He ain't elite until he decides to play a little bit of defense.

 

yes & no... The thing is a player like LOVE would be a better fit playing with harden, parsons, and asik just setting screens, rebounding, 10 easy points a game.

But asik and jones wouldn't be enough offense

 

Fair enough.

But he Iso'd last year a bunch because of a lot of factors going against him: new system, expectations to be "The Star", wanting to prove himself, lack of chemistry with teammates, etc.

Now that those things have been solved, he's a flat out stud. Amazing player.

Great and relaxed win.

If I had any criticism, it would be that JHarden shouldnt have
had to play > 36 mins.

Not in games like this.

Ok... we just played Utah and Minnesota... and Minnesota played last night. Dwight is a major upgrade and our record at the end of the year will show that.

 

I think he was just pointing out the hypocrisy of some posters.
