[Woj] Rockets made trade deadline bid for Lowry who wishes he did things differently in Houston

Yea, it comes down to a fit issue. Kyle can do exactly what this team needs. Take care of the ball, play good D, and shoot lights out when we need him to. I would rather have him than Rondo as well. Primarily because Rondo is a wild card that could blow up, and while Kyle is no saint, he is far more reliable.

 

It'll be interesting to have him with Harden around. Will he be alright to be a spot-up shooter?

 

Bingo! The rockets can offer lowry the mle,but they could do better with a sign and trade. Lin for lowry and give lowry a 4 yr 30m deal. Then offer ariza the mle again. Ariza backing up parsons and harden 30mins a night,bev backing up lowry, along with everyone else would be an awesome squad.

Lowry had 6 turnovers in that last game but wasn't yanked for it. Lin should love it Toronto with that coach. I can see a backcourt of Lin and DeRozan tearing it up. Morley make it happen.

Just my 2 cents..Parsons will be abused all season long if you moved him as PF...Notice how Parsons has been slumping lately due to the small-ball line-up..

 

Melo has the body to defend the 4 spot. Also, we don't know what Parsons will become once he no longer has to focus so much on the offensive end.

I love Lowry, but I really think he's saying all this stuff just to shed his image as someone who doesn't get along with his coaches. Teams would be hesitant to offer him a contract if they think he might be a cancer.

 

Would Sam Hinkie want him in Philadelphia? Lowry would love to play for his hometown.

Pretty much, Masai will demand at least Chandler Parsons and a pick for Lowry, if we want to saddle them with Lin, but the Raptors don't need a SF at all, since they are still developing Ross.

With Harden on the team, the PG position in Houston is not going to be glamorous and won't bring big bucks for the PG.

Any PG who wants a big contract would be hesitant to come.
