Good part of the schedule to rest him...but not having him against Minny and Charlotte, not discounting Cleveland either.

If he needs the rest give it to him. Last thing we need is an injury made worse against teams we should beat even with out him, but hopefully he'll be 100 percent by a day or two. These two days off are big for him and the rest of the team, including Parsons who will finally get the break he deserves.

Rockets needs to rest the starters from time to time especially right now. A pack of healthy hungry wolves will fair better during a hunt.

I forgot about Parsons and Harden too. Also, Lin and Bev should get some rest too to allow their body to heal.

Lin needs to keep playing. With his really inopportune high dribbles, picking up his dribble like a rookie, and some instances that make you think he's regressing. He needs to play from here until the PlayOffs.. It's really his last PlayOff chance to redeem himself after being injured the 2 prior.

Strain is what you do to your pasta. Sprain is where Madrid is.

Seriously though, I had a ridiculous amount of ankle sprains from sports back in the day, and even in the severe cases I never heard the trainer call it a "strain". I think a strain is a more minor version of the sprain maybe?

Edit: A quick Google search notes that the strain "is an injury to either a muscle or a tendon (fibrous cords of tissue that connect muscle to bone). Depending on the severity of the injury, a strain may be a simple overstretch of the muscle or tendon, or it can result from a partial or complete tear."

The sprain appears to be more ligament pull/tear related:
"A sprain is a stretch and/or tear of a ligament (a band of fibrous tissue that connects two or more bones at a joint). One or more ligaments can be injured at the same time. The severity of the injury will depend on the extent of injury (whether a tear is partial or complete) and the number of ligaments involved."

I hope it's nothing serious and he comes back and play. I don't want to get stuck with Memphis in the first round

I don't understand why it's always a do or die decision whether to play a guy... just start the game with Howard on the bench and use him if you think you have to. He can cycle on the sidelines to stay warm. For whatever reason it just doesn't happen.

Dwight for Melo. Asik is kept for next season, but leaves after because of what he had to go through. Rockets turn into Nuggets when they had AI and Melo.

    Then a unicorn comes along.

    He's actually 6'9". A broad-shouldered and strong 6'9", but 6'9" nevertheless.

He might be listed as 6'11" somewhere, but look at photos, especially those on his signing day when he stood next to other Houston centers of the past.

This could be a blessing in disguise. Asik will have plenty of minutes to regain his confidence and get back to his 2012-2013 form just in time for the playoffs while Dwight gets rest to get ready for the playoffs.

Hopefully they can knock off the T'Wolves without him. Minnesota will be on the 2nd night of a B2B. I do think they'll need him on this upcoming 2-game road trip though.

If Dwight is out again, I absolutely want him as a guest commentator with Worrell, Clyde and Bull

hes out for the season had knee surgrey

he never got waived to pick up a vet player because morey

    1. morey wants to keep him for backup center option when he trades ASIK this summer.

    2. Morey showed him that hes loyal and sure they have some kind of agreement for a min contract & 2nd year team option he will give him this summer (similar to casspis deal) which helps morey with cap space in chasing a 3rd star 2014 or 2015. “Morey remains flexible”
