Rockets match last seasons win total with 15 games left.

You cannot just throw rookies out there this late in the season. I'm all for giving them garbage time, but at this point you need to keep the rotations pretty consistent to prepare for the playoffs. It is very unlikely that the rookies would help us in the playoffs anyways.

 

I say maybe 54-56 wins. Hopefully by that time we've locked up home court advantage, and we give our starters the rest they deserve. That might count as some losses but playoffs> reg. season ,especially if your locked in a seed already.

 

Im so glad Rockets basketball is we haven't had s 50+ win season in a hot minute. Morey rocks, great job on his part.

 

If McHale were as smart as his detractors on CF we'd have reached last season's win total with 37 games left.

 

I recall Daryl Morey saying adding a player of Dwight's caliber results in a 8-10 additional wins over the course of a season. Given the current pace of the team - it seems like that presumption is going to hold true.

Of course other factors such as the maturation and development of players matter, but that can also be offset by the number of injuries early in the season
