Dumb question probably but I'm curious. How do gloves affect throwing a football when the ball is wet? Does the ball slip more with gloves or are those gloves designed with some sort of stick'em that isn't affected by moisture?
Same here, that would be pretty awesome value. He's still a flawed prospect, but a draft with, say Clowney in the first and Bridgewater in the second is a success. However, there's no way he falls that far. He looked really bad at his pro day, and he has some red flags, but I think he's still a middle of the first round type QB in value and someone will probably reach like they always do.
Bridgewater is the best overall qb in this draft. Shirt and short performances measure some things but not everything. He could still be the first pick in the first round if not top 5.
There's still a chance that he's the best QB in this class, but that's in indictment of the top level talent in this class more than praise for Bridgewater. No QB in this class is worth a top 10 pick, but foolish teams always reach, I just hope that the Texans aren't one of them.
Got to give you credit: this had me closing my office door and laughing out loud! I sent a copy to Jerry Jones to make him feel better about signing Brandon Weeden.

Yup, I heard it didn't go well, but it's not his fault because a dog ate his homework and he had the flu.

Brian T. Smith was on 610 just now and stated that he believes Bridgewater is the best fit for the Texans and their new team direction (BoB, no Schauby, Crennel D, etc.). He said he doesn't care who they take #1 but need to hit on that pick regardless. Obvious information, but just giving a breif synopsis of what he stated.
Rick and BO'B- " Teddy thanks for stinking it up on your Pro Day now we can get you in the 2nd round. Everything is going according to plan. Muahaha!"

What will really shock you is if he's there in the 2nd round and the Texans pass on him again. Being able to read weak Mickey Mouse college defenses isn't going to get him drafted high in the 1st round.
