    My sentiments exactly.

Did he not know Rockets were dribbling the clock out to end the game and not trying to score?

If he knew and stole the ball anyway, he deserved to be fouled HARD and sent flying into the stands.

The scrub obviously cannot control his emotions and probably doesn't deserve to be in the NBA at the moment.

Nah chief, no upset"ness" here. Just called you a fool because that's exactly what your comments on this thread indicated. If the shoe fits though.

So you're a LOF coming on a ROX forum and calling us biased? Yeah ok then.

You do know you mentioned Beverleys foul vs Westbrook from the 2013 playoffs and multiple people have responded to that idiotic comparison right? Not sure where you got your misguided belief that every poster since has failed to respond to that.

Now you mention Beverley's foul vs Westbrook this season.
If you're talking about the last game between the two teams, whether it was the play as Westbrook called a timeout or the play in which Beverley dove to the ground, neither of those were dirty plays but they increased the tension as Westbrook seems to now take offense to Beverley so much as breathing on him or putting an arm on him.

Regardless, that's a terrible and inaccurate comparison. Try again champ.

"Just calling it how I see it".
    "We're all in this together".

Since when is it not enough to take your starters out in the fourth? Now you have to stop playing THE ONLY WAY they play offense too because the other team feels bad? No. Having the second string in is mercy enough. Go Home Jazz and take your beating like men.

Gonna have to do better than "keep playing yourself".

Face it. You like starting trouble. There is a difference between having an opposing view point and being an obnoxious contrarian.

Beverley and Lucas are two completely different scenario's.

Players fake time outs all the time in the NBA. I've seen Westbrook score off a fake time out. I saw Lin do it last season. I've seen Jason Kidd do it. If you KNOW that a PG can and will fake a time out, then you play it until the time out is actually called. It was just an unfortunate accident that Westbrook was injured.

That's *completely* different than JL3 going for a steal when the Rockets were giving the *courtesy* of dribbling the clock out. The Rockets did NOT need to do that... they could have gone for 40. They settled for 38.

As for shooting 3's in garbage time, that makes sense for other teams, but it doesn't make sense with the Rockets. The Rockets offense is nearly all Lay ups, dunks and 3's. Garbage time players want more minutes, and the only way they'll get it is to run the offense and defense as designed. And in the case of the Rockets, that means they'll jack up 3's.

That said, I'm not going to be too hard on Lucas. The guy is playing on the Jazz, and it must completely *suck* to be a Jazz player. Constantly blown out on a terrible team, embarrassed night in and night out, with a sub-par Coach in Corbin.

I'd probably go nuts too if someone made me play on the Jazz. Especially this year's Jazz which will go down as one of their worst teams in Jazz history.

Classless move on the part of JL3, but I'll give him a pass for temporary insanity. IE, he's on the Jazz. ;)

Never liked Lucas as a Rocket. Sucky scrub shouldn't be in the league in the first place. I don't care who yo daddy was and his Rockets ties.

Would hate on him more especially now he's a Spazz, but he's irrelevant.

My favorite part was JL3 calling out that this is his city. Yeah man, you really showed us whose city it is with that dominating 2 point, 1 rebound performance on 1 for 7 shooting. Fight the power!

I don't think we watched the same series. You telling me Landry, Hayes, Artest, battier, etc., didn't show toughness and heart? That's the whole reason why it went to seven.

I'm not a big fan of this so called "code" where you don't try to score if you are ahead by huge margin. You don't want my team scoring on yours? Play better defense! The Rockets were just being courteous and decided not to score more points. If you are on the receiving end of this, and you try to steal the ball, like what JL3 did last night, you better take that ball to the rim and try to score, not just pass it off and start something you couldn't finish. The Jazz were already embarrassed, his actions just made it worse. I can't believe he was a Rocket at all a few years back.

yea he just totally embarrassed himself and the Jazz. I wonder of the coach yelled at him after. What a poor sport. Rockets should have just handed the ball to him and said, here you go pal. Go Ham.
