Coaching staff holds the entire team back. Harden could be even better, while vulnerable guys like Lin have guidance. You expect anything else from "protect the ball" "play harder", and other crap that's vague. No detailed coaching and critiquing. Like when you drive or dribble like that this could happen. He picks your pocket like that so look out for that... No this is the most shiiit coaching staff there is. Guys just have to figure it out for themselves..

Dunno of anyone has looked at any numbers, but IMO Lin has made many more passes in the air that does NOT result in turnovers. Just saying. And if my gut feeling is wrong please post some numbers, also there are players that makes more TO off regular passes in rockets team that are both in transition or set defense...in air and not. IMHO we need to stop nit picking each player each game.
Well, at least we're beating the teams we're suppose to beat. and i think it's safe to say Jeremy Lin's back. WELCOME BACK LIN!!! WE MISSED YOU!!! But it looks like Parsons' gone. It looks like the real Parson gone fishing like Lin did for 2 weeks. Hopefully, Parsons' vacation will be shorter then Lin's
That is true, we have all the talent, the mistakes and shortcomings of our team is not talent, but decision making, basketball iqs, which are factors the coaching staff can absolutely fix and improve upon
So you take what is heard in the wired edition on national tv games and say thats all he ever does as a coach? That post just took away all your credibility.
You do know, I'm sure, that they don't show most of the huddle. It's been posted about many times here that the quick sound bites from McHale (and ALL coaches, for that matter) are just filler. Stop and think about it for a minute - do you ever see true strategy discussions by any coach in the huddle shown on TV? It's ALL vague crap. I'll leave it to you to figure out why that's all they show.
