Okay CF members, I'm asking for lots of prayers here friends. My brother Jack (aka handle "Samurai Jack") is currently in the hospital with 20% Ejection Fraction (EF)...heart failure. I need your prayers ASAP, please. As you may know, this may have derived from being a hardcore Rockets fan. HA! J/K My brother and I have been members since 'the good ol' days', when we first heard the motto coined "maybe, maybe no"...lol...and I hope that he 'maybe no' has EF. My brother is someone who I look up to and love, someone who liked comic books more than sports...or at least until 'Rocket Red' got into his system. He even has a Rockets tattoo on his back to show for it! I always wondered why he did such a darn thing, like putting a permanently inked 'bloody dildo' on his back (lol), when I know the Rockets will go back to their original logo (hopefully!)...or at least something less hideous than the logo they're sportin' now. Sorry to offend you, brother Jack. Just please know that I love you and I am begging for tons of prayers for your swift recovery. I love you. Go Doctors, Go Brother, and Go Rockets!
Thanks guys and gals...y'all are awesome!!! And just knowing that he may see this makes me feel somewhat at ease. Every little comment will help knowing he could potentially see this from his hospital bed. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Y'all are great people. Go Rockets.
I wish him a speedy recovery. My brother was at EF 15% or something. He is a doctor and diagnosed himself. He thinks it was a virus he picked up in the hospital that ravaged his heart. That was 3-4 years ago. Through healthy eating and exercise he is good again. His EF is still not great (35% I think) but he runs 3-4 miles a day and is healthy.
Thanks for giving me hope. I doubt my brother 'contracted' this EF somewhere other than from inside him...however, I am hoping he I s strong enough to recover and live a long and healthy(ier) life.
There is no stronger human instinct than survival. We didn't lose R2K, we didn't Manny. Hang in there bro.
Best wishes to your brother, you and your family. Hate to hear clutchfans dealing with serious health issues. Speedy goodness to y'all.
Prayers man. Scary ****e, stay strong. Probably not the appropriate time to ask but I'm not of age so when is the "maybe maybe not" motto from?
I really don't know where it stemmed from, but it's like someone saying yes, or yes I can't. Does that help?
