    No I don't. For instance, you would then need to show that a majority of quarterbacks 6'2" or less are prone to injury. ;)

    I'm hoping BOB's ego is not that inflated where he takes a project QB with the first overall pick thinking he can change him. Tons of QB's get drafted with great measurables that flame out because the have poor instincts or can't figure it out. Too much of a risk.

    Then we agree that the Texans should pass on a QB in the first because taking a project QB with the first pick is bad, right?

    TB may turn out great but you can't blame the Texans if they end up passing on him with the 1st pick. That's on Teddy.

    Well it d@mn sure isn't Teddy.... He played in a control check down offense and never had to face any pressure because he had the #1 defense in the nation backing him (when Louisville did face big time competition it was the defense that stepped up except against Blake). Today he was on an island and had to perform under the pressure of practically every GM and coach watching him and he folded.

    I won't be surprised at all if Jimmy G. gets drafted before Teddy.

    At this point, Teddy is more of a project than Blake. And contrary to OMR's belief Blake has a better completion percentage under pressure than Teddy and Blake has faced much better competition. But I still think the Texans will trade the pick if they can.

    Let me state a fact: outside of interviews, everything from the end of the college season to draft day doesn't mean squat. It's just show and tell and an excuse for people to be heard on Twitter, TV, blah blah blah so they can appear to be "doing their homework." All fake and a waist of time.

    Here are the five things that matter:
    1) how they come across when speaking with them in various settings
    2) game tape
    3) game tape
    4) game tape, and
    5) game tape.

    Okay so

    1) he came across "meek" and "aloof"
    2) game tape showed flawed mechanics both in his throw and footwork
    3) game tape showed poor deep ball accuracy
    4) game tape was against weak compeititon
    5) game tape showed him playing somewhere between 190 and 200 lbs.

    Your pro day should be pretty much flawless because it's rehearsed and scripted and it takes place in a controlled environment surrounded by all of your own people. He came in under-weight, ran fairly slow, and missed a ton of throws. It was pretty bad.

    He is praying to get drafted in the second round by the Texans as opposed to getting picked by the Jags or Browns...:)

    I hope all this negativity hurts his stock. I hope every team says he's not a first round QB talent. I hope teams say to stay away from him in the first round. Cause if we take Clowney at 1-1, maybe Bridgewater has a Rodgers/Geno type fall and is sitting there when we pick at 2-1. It's a pipe dream I know, but the draft is unpredictable...

    C'mon dude give the kid a friggin' break! It was a shirts & skins workout. Look at the tape. The dude took Louisville to a big time bowl game & helped turn that program into a success.

    Were you there? That's pretty subjective to say the least. Because there's no way to know for certain.

    Are you a coach? Because his fundamentals have been praised during games. So you'll find more than a few who'll disagree with you.

    This has been regurgitated over & over. The kid is 21 and can improve on this. Is he done developing at 21?

    Again, this has been regurgitated over & over. It's really irrelevant once you get to the NFL. Can you adjust your game to the NFL game?
    How many SEC QBs (NOT NAMED MANNING) have even played in a Super Bowl in the last 25 years? The answer may surprise you.

    I think SOMEONE will still take him in the first, but he just showed that even though he might be the best QB in the draft, he's not worth a top 10 pick.
