His hands aren't prohibitively small, but it is pretty obvious that he needs to wear gloves and that he needs a lot of work when it comes to his footwork, deep ball accuracy, and throwing motion. There's nothing that can be done about his tiny frame though. Someone will pick him in the first round I'm sure, but he's pretty far from a sure thing.

Doesn't look like #1 overall pick material to me. Maybe the Titans or Vikes take a chance on him. Guys like Clowney, G-Robinson, and Sammy Watkins rate much higher.

Not to mention guys like Mack and Matthews who rate significantly higher as well.

Your spelling is good, but your grammar is poor - I didn't say Bridgewater was the next Montana.

I don't think he was talking about McGuire personally. He was referencing Abe Elam who has had a spotty relationship with agents and now runs a management team. He advised his younger brother S Matt Elam (Florida) to the back of first round last year because teams didn't want to deal with him. Basically you shouldn't have someone nobody likes, that has a sketchy track record with decision making advise you on making decisions

Of course you weren't....you were just using Montana in an effort to defend Bridgewater's poor performance and small frame.

By saying his grammar is poor...did you mean his reading comprehension instead?

Just go with it, he's doing the best he can, the fact that he's still wrong is a "mute" point.

i dont understand these things.. theres plenty of tape of this guy (or any prospect) performing against competition, but people seem to hold these performances in shorts higher than actual game footage..

There is tape of him performing against mostly cupcake competition and in watching that tape you see that he has accuracy and footwork problems as well as being very undersized. He confirmed that at his pro day.

That's right - I just get fed up with people saying a particular player won't make it because he is a few pounds underweight and making other excuses to dismiss a player they don't like.
But rational people will see what I was getting at.

......okay so pointing out that one player, who struggled with injury his entire career, managed to have a HOF career despite being undersized means that it's not a red flag? Do you think that's a rational take?

His short distance accuracy is strong but not on the longer throws and his footwork has always needed work.

Nothing to apologize for. Teddy is not a Texan as of present. If Bridgewater is truly crap I don't want him. I want the best player that can help us improve. I wish there was clear cut number one quarterback for the Texans to pick. But of all I have seen on film of all the available QB's, TB was and still is the best. Teddy Bridgewater has shown skills that are very impressive.

He had a bad pro day. I'm not pretending it doesn't matter. His question marks are still there but so are his positives. He still a smart QB. He's st But we need a franchise QB. If we don't draft one I don't know how we get one. No one is trading franchise QB's away. I guess you can make an argument for Bortles. I don't hate him just under pressure he is so erratic. maybe BO'B thinks he can fix that.
