Looks like Lin had a bad game. Now all the trolls are out and live. Who voted yes by the way? Trying to expand my ignore list.
When you have posted a comment in a Lin thread and someone quoted you with a reply of one of the followings : 1. You are a racist. 2. McHale is an idiot and he is also a racist. 3. Morey did this on purpose so that he can have a better bargain on Lin's next contract. 4. Where are you when Lin is playing great? 5. Where are you when Bev/Harden were playing like crap? 6. Look at Lin's AS votes, Lin's marketing value and Lin's inspiration to the kids, and you still did this to him? 7. I can't wait for Lin to be traded to his new team. 8. He's just a role player, how can you blame a role player for your failure? 9. This is the payback you are getting after you destroyed a player's confidence. 10. Yes, I would like to say this again, you are a racist. Well, you should know that you had just told the truth.
Any fans who joined after 2002 are either "real rocket fans" or "LOF". Since 2002 is when Yao joined and they might be asian and therefore LOF.
You, out of most, are fully awful that most LOF have moved onto the other website. Sure you have the dumb LOF who posts on this site but it’s mostly to reply to the troll bait.
About 20 seconds left on the shot clock, Lin is in a 1 on 3 situation and takes an ill advised 3 point shot with the inevitable result being a brick. Trying to imitate Harden but Lin is not half the player Harden is. McHale trying to call a timeout and Lin charges down the court without looking at the coach and is called for an offensive foul on Battier crashing into him. Wasted possession Lin just screams low bball IQ. This along with poor handles, repeated same pick up dribble live ball turnovers, mental weakness is not a good recipe for success.
You guys really expect Lin to beat Miami's trap D? They do this to every team, blitz the **** out of the pnr ballhandler. Look what happens to CP3 or Dragic when they play the Heat. They gave Rondo a 0/8 game back in January. Only 1's that look good against Miami are 1's athletic enough to beat the trap (and even then they have to get lucky), and 1's on teams that already have systems in place to counter Miami (Spurs, Warriors). Lin isn't athletic enough to beat the trap, he's TO prone (which makes them wanna trap him more), and his value comes from attacking off the pnr, which Miami takes away. It's stupid to put him in the game and give him the same look because you don't beat Miami by creating off the dribble. You do it by exploiting quick passing out of the trap to shooters or bigs. It's not a coincidence every time Rockets play Miami, Dwight and Terrence Jones are incredibly efficient on offense and on the boards. As the best 5 in the game, Dwight should have 30+ points whenever they play Miami. Nets beat Miami every game this year - DWill looked like garbage but they still won because Paul Pierce or someone else went off. Warriors use David Lee in the high post to create mismatches out of the trap. Spurs run around the floor baiting Miami to trap everything until they're confused and Parker has an opening to create. Rockets just run the same game they always do and only reason they beat Miami the first time is because Beverley went 60% from deep. That's not something you'll be able to count on in the Finals.
Lin just isn't very good. He's a bench guy that may deliver and may not. If the Lofs would simply acknowledge that and move on I don't think it would be much of a problem.
Every player on the roster have taken this kind of shot at least a few times during the season. I guess the whole team is trying to imitate Harden? When McHale tried to call a timeout, Heat's defense stopped and Lin tried to make a quick basket but it's against the Heat so of course he got called for an offensive foul. Hater much?
You only posted 34 times. You listed 10 comments. I guess about 1/3 of your posts are about Lin if each comment was to one post. Try and get interested in Parsons, Harden, Dwight, Bev. They are the mainstays of the team.
That was such a bad call. It should have been a foul on Battier. Watch this clip: http://stats.nba.com/cvp.html?GameID=0021300989&GameEventID=205 Lin takes off from the free throw line at 7 sec mark. Watch Battier's feet, he's moving them while Lin is in mid-air. Battier moves into a position so that Lin has no where to land but on Battier. Bad call and dangerous play on Battier's part.
You are fully aware that LOF will never acknowledge that but you continue to argue with them and carry on this pointless crusade.
Those two possessions had me at a loss for words. He was having a pretty good game and then he makes bone-headed decisions. I thought he went to Harvard? LOL. He channels his inner-JR Smith from time to time. I don't make excuses for Harden either. He had a terrible, full court pass that resulted in a turnover. He pulled a Lin on that play.
Indeed. Lin should be making Nate Robinson or Patty Mills money. Instead he is one of if not the most overpaid player in the league with his bloated and poisonous contract.
