If Teddy falls to the 2nd round, that is a dream scenario for the Texans.

Queue the "Pro-Days don't mean anything" crowd now.

He won't. BUT if the Browns are in love with Mack/Clowney/Barr or any of the top picks, perhaps they trade up and we possibly get him at 4? (praying he falls past the Jags.)

I guess this average pro day means Teddy is not a very good quarterback.

    Too bad.

I was so convinced by what he did for three years during game situations...how he executed, made the right decisions, and so on.

Oh well, I guess he will never make it in the pros...doomed to be a back-up and/or out of the league in a few years.

    Good thing he graduated college.

On a serious note...it is flat out hilarious how professionals get so carried away on certain things. So Pro Days and NFL Combines dictate how you will play at the next level? Come on.

Did Ted do well today? No way...not even close. But so what.

If teams are so inept that they pass on this guy...so be it.
    They will rue the day...

Lol; are you his brother or something?

You make a fair point. One pro day doesn't mean his whole track record goes down the tubes. But it does confirm what a lot of football people have been saying for a while: he's not a #1 pick.

I'm intrigued with the possibility of a trade back scenario if BOB still likes Bridgewater.

Maybe BOB told Bridgewater to sabotage his proday so the Texans can nab him later

it still is a warning sign. maybe he couldn't handle the pressure and was thinking too much. either way, at this point its a HUGE risk to take him or any qb #1. let's build a sick D, tank, get a qb next yr.

I'm sure that's exactly what happened, later he'll ask him to tear his ACL so we can get him in the 6th round.

That would make Bridgewater less intelligent than Vince Young. Lower pick means less money.

Teddy's best attributes are not really measurable: clutch factor, 3rd down ability, 4th quarter ability, toughness, poise, leadership, etc...

With that said, he really put himself in a bad position by not doing anything at the combine.

His downfield accuracy and slight build have always been his biggest knocks and they were reaffirmed today in pretty convincing fashion.

The thing is he completed 71% of his passes in real games and looked better than that on the run and under pressure. That's what I loved about him. He stepped up when it counted in the game. This is not a game and he didn't perform well. Not when you consider he was in shorts and no pressure. I don't think he is a reach but I can't ignore today either.

Here is what I think will happen. Bortles kills in his pro day and O'Brien loves his size. I don't want Bortles. Not saying he is terrible but he is Andrew luck Lite with out the consistency and no polish. I am not a big Andrew Luck fan and Bortles is a much liter version.

I wish we signed Josh McCown now. Take him and draft the best QB prospect in the second round. I like this kid from Wyoming. He needs a lot of work but McCown is good for at least 2 years maybe longer. Maybe Keenum improves.

I don't know. I'm just disappointed in TB. I was disappointed he didn't run and throw at the combine and even more disappointed in his results today. Maybe it's not wearing the glove or the pressure of the day or that he his adreanline takes over in the game. The scary thing is we pass on him and either Jacksonville or the Browns get him and he kills.

What I got from this is TB throws almost as good in pads as he does without. There is something to be said for that. Pressure absolutely does not effect this kid. If anything it makes him better. While all of these other guys have great pro days and then sucking it up on game day TB is a constant. I am torn right now but in the end the film don't lie so I'll probably go back and watch some more.

Pretty disappointing to hear, BUT Jamarcus Russell had the best pro day workout ever.

    Nice try Kubiak.

One thing's for sure, This kid is full of Battlefight excuses. Maybe you get the Raven to draft him #17 huh Kubes?

Very troubling day for TB. Losing weight isn't a good sign. He still has individual workouts with teams, but this is going to leave a sour taste in many people's mouths.

Clowney dropped a couple of pounds for his pro day run. Everyone drops weight for their pro day run

Based on what I can see, I've got Clowney, Mack, Watkins and Robinson all ahead of him now. That said, if we do end up picking him #1 overall, I WILL BE PUMPED. Because if that happens then that means O'Brien sees everything he needs for a franchise QB in him.
