also depends on the context of play and who is surrounding Lin and who is facing Lin. it's an indicator but not an idictment of Lin's play against the Heat
Nope, being a fan is ignoring flaws and passing the blame for poor play onto the next guy. Fandom 101 man

Eh, it is what it is. I'm mad the refs caused the momentum to swing but as a team we gotta learn to grow from that. Now its time to cook some good meal to relieve some stress.
When I think of his contract, I try to forget the actual figure and just hope he plays like some other guys that make that type of dough. That would be awesome.
As a vet in this forum...don't bait the Lin fans. You think your posts will sway them? He did play a bad game, there is no question...just don't specify your criticism on Lin because he wasn't the only one making mistakes in this game and your post will only create 10 more counter posts which will then snowball the thread to a Lin thread. We know that he is paid to play better than this, but that has been recycled so many times that I really can't be bothered scrolling past these posts anymore. So pls stop.
1 or 2 people say something bad about Lin and you act like it's everyone. There will always be a handful of people who will hate on Lin even when it's not his fault. They had unrealistic expectations due to a 7 game stretch on the Knicks. Ignore them.
He's a miami heat writer, what else would you expect. Beverley, does cross that threshold though, like he's playing for his dear life.
Pat has to stop bullying the whole league a guess. Everyone is so hurt that Beverley plays hard and doesn't back down...
When Lin tried but failed, it was his fault for not handing the ball to Harden/Dwight/Parsons When Lin didn't shoot or score, and Harden/Dwight/Parsons failed on their attempts, it's still Lin's fault for not standing out to replace the superstars. I don't know where they place Lin. If Lin is expected to be the 6th man like Ginobili, he should be allowed to try to maybe make a change. I saw Ginobili shot under tight defense with lots of time left and failed as well, but I didn't see that many people bashing him. If you see him as a scrub, then you should be happy whenever he does better than a scrub.
Pat was cut by the Heat, and he's been making it a point to show they made a mistake. Udonis tried to talk him into stop talking so much to their bench. I guess Pat is still at it. I like it. We need a guy like that. We haven't had and OG since RonRon.
------------- In the forth, Lin was wide open several times, but Bervely and Harden never want to pass the ball to him and decided go ISO. What about those plays? Don't just put magnify glass on Lin only.
Lin played well against the Sixers multiple times, the Pacers he was clutch when he was on the kNicks. He also played well against the Mavericks, and Cavaliers with Kyrie Irving at PG. He was definitely in my view more than a one hit wonder. McHale does what he likes, and that's his business. Ultimately, the Rockets will live in their bed with Bev At PG and lie in it. doesn't mean I disagree or have to support the ROckets for benching Lin.
