Some of you guys all of sudden acting like the Lin, Bev, Harden Lineup wasn't successful in the past. You guys have really short Memories.
Which is why it made no sense for McHale to have kept him in. ((But but...McHale hates lin and wants to reduce his minutes!!!!)) The possible benefit of having Lin on the floor is that he can give you some offense (create off the dribble for himself or his teammates). Considering he wasnt providing that, Hamilton with his length and athleticism would have been a better option for chasing Ray Allen around the screens.
OUTSMARTED....the entire team was OUTSMARTED. Every single player on the Rockets made a dumb play once they were up - and the officials too, by giving them all those points on delay of games and defensive 3 seconds. That was a team that KNOWS who they are beating a team who is still not quite there mentally. DD
What is worrying is Lin's really low IQ He has no business taking pull up jumpers and 3 pointers with 20 seconds left on the clock. Leave that to Harden and learn to play within the flow of the system. Lin is not the first offensive option and he should realize that Playing aggressive does not equate to playing stupid, the latter is what Lin did today.
its like the Rockets have no playbook... yes, Harden kinda blew a layup (and the game was pretty much over after that) but then 3 iso top of the key contested 3 pointers... is that the best they can do? Sooo not a fan of the 3's or dunks only offense, not a fan of Mchale
no the game changed when Ray Allen was left wide open for a three, than Harden threw the ball away, than Dwight got his third defensive 3 seconds... those are all mistakes that we made!
See, that's what starts the conspiracy theorist in me going. You see all these BS technicals and foul calls late in the game and you can't help but wonder if the refs are trying to not only hand the Heat the win, but cover the spread as well.
Refs were terrible down the stretch, but the Rockets also executed much worse than Miami did too. That Ray Allen 3 out of the time out was unacceptable, and really that's when the game started to slip away.
but that argument doesn't hold water. There had to have been much more money bet on the Heat to rebound off their terrible stretch and cover a nationally televised home game. If refs were in Vegas' pocket, they would've certainly been trying to help the Rockets cover that spread.
So he helped make sure anyone who put $10 on Phoenix didn't win $1,000 if they won the game. That Phoenix team was tanking at that point. And you say that like he helped the Rockets. Losing that game keeps us at 8th seed and a first round exit against OKC. What exactly did he do? And tbh, it could have gone either way. I say it's a goal tend, his finger was inside the rim.
