Except I played this game for over 30hours during the beta. A good game is fun regardless of the maps. I love how you did png read the rest of my post.
Omg wtf is wrong with you? I don't want the titans at all. They ruin the map sizes and the game is boring just spamming at titans for 30seconds. How did you get that. And during the beta my kd was around 3. It was an easy game. Yes, that's against humans. I doubt they were smart enough to put a game mode without the titans and the bots, but they have a game mode mode called last Titan standing. Seriously, if I didn't play this game I would stfu like I'm supposed to. But if everyone says good things about this and I didn't like it because it gets boring then I will voice my opinion and why. If you guys see something wrong because they updated the game then feel free to correct me. That's what forums are about. Not just posting gamer tags and saying this game is the best Evers.
I remember Halo PC, I played alot and our team was pretty competitive. Can't remember my team name though. Played as "Omega".
after having played a few more hours total over past day...my biggest gripe is still the matchmaking....can be really unbalanced, in fact a lot unbalance. hopefully they can make an update for it. i'll never be a high-level/elite player...though i'm leveling up easy now...eventually i'll just hit a wall with my mediocre play. i'd like to not have to go up against players who are outta my league in the future.
I got matched up with a team full of all prestiges. Two of them fifth prestige. Not fun. So you come in here because you are bitter people are finding enjoyment with the things you dislike. Seriously? Cowboy_Bebop 2.0.
Kid, you are full of crap. It's fine to hate the game, but it makes no sense to call a game boring and then to put in 30 HOURS INTO A BETA THAT ONLY LASTED 5 OR SO DAYS. That means you spent about 6 hours per day on a game that you thought sucked. I thought Ghosts sucked and I put in less than 10 hours into that game over a span of 1 month before selling it.
Having 3 K/D in beta doesn't mean you'll have 3 K/D in retail. There are good players playing now. Also, I need some proof. They haven't put a game mode like that in yet (I would be interested in seeing it), but they will come up with mod tools at some point I believe and that will be alleviated.
LOL. Because I didn't say this game was amazing? I'm sorry, but this game is not for everyone. I said it before and I am letting others know the hype surrounding this game is mostly paid for. It gets boring fast. The Titans are the most boring aspect of the game and they are a major part of it. I may have exaggerated about the hours, it was under 15 but it felt like 30. That's how bored I was towards the end of the beta trying to figure out why everyone had hard ons when they talked about this game. And I'm not a kid,son. Lol that's what I thought. So you lied about your play time in the beta and your K/D. At least you didn't dance around it for another 5 pages like Scarface. I give you some minor credit there. Don't make it seem like we're jumping on you because you dislike the game. You're more than welcome to your opinion. The issue was you claiming you know for a fact this game will fail. Then you claimed you had more play time than everyone else which was hilarious. Then you claimed you had this massive K/D and how the game was too easy, and I called you out about that. Stop giving out false information and people will stop calling you on your bull****.
^^^I agree with this. Stop exaggerating dude. If you want to make a point stick to the facts. Your KD was a 2 not a 3 and you didn't play the beta nearly as much as you said you did. That type of stuff ruins your credibility when you're trying to get your point across. I do believe though, that you have every right to post your dislike for the game if it is genuine, but your hyperbole makes it seem like you're trolling. Fact is, there is not a single game on the planet that EVERYBODY likes. There really isn't much to see here. You aren't the only person who isn't a fan of this game, but you do seem to be one of the people in the minority. Personally, I like the game and I'm going to play it. I'm foreseeing massive hours wasted on it. As a matter of fact, I'm comfortable strongly recommending it to anybody else thinking about switching from PS4 to Xbox One and aren't certain. I'm enjoying it that much. That said, I get the impression that my bro in law still prefers Ghosts even though he hasn't come out and said it because he has chosen thus far to put more time in on that even though he has been playing it on PS4 since it came out. To each his own. Live and let live. Just as adamantly as you claim to dislike the game and you want people to respect your opinion, respect the opinion of those who love the game and do think it is very fun because most of us aren't on Microsoft's payroll and our opinions are just as authentic as you claim yours to be.
The only one with buyer's remorse is you. And you're taking it out on the rest of us in this thread. Its pretty pathetic because its pretty obvious you actively want the game to fail for whatever prideful, arrogant reason you have in mind.
This mismatches generally even out over time. The same sort of issues happened with Call of Duty, as you have those that play the game 24/7 and get several prestige levels (called Generations in Titanfall)... and there simply aren't enough people that high to match them with. Overtime that discrepancy decreases as more people get higher and higher, and more new gamers come in without a prestige level.
I'm sure there's a couple things you could do to help out. I typically don't call my titan in unless I have a group of teammates already fighting in theirs, or I'm the first. If you call your titan in and the other teams has theirs up, forget about it. Also your build may need adjusting; honestly as much as I love it I think the stryder is useless except for CTF, or if you have a burn card to get one instantly. I use atlas almost exclusively, I might give ogre a shot but I like the damage core on the atlas.
This is true, I'm pretty reckless and don't really play strategically. I am also at a pretty low level so I haven't really unlocked many things, the Stryder is what I use exclusively because of its maneuverability but it does get damaged a lot faster.
Being lower level doesn't hurt too much honestly. The R101C is the best rifle in the game lol. Definitely do not use the stryder unless you're the flag runner in CTF. Try out the Atlas, I think you'll prefer it after awhile. It can hang with Ogres if you play it right. Definitely think about what you're exposed to, and stay high up on roofs / not in the streets. Pilot v Titan fights on the ground or even mid level are incredibly one sided in favor of Titans.
yeah i have been tweeking with builds. i tried using that sniper...holy hell forget it. how can you in that game, you can't camp and set up shop might get a few kills by cloaking but damn. i've been sticking with the R101C...seems most balanced and holds the most ammo...shotties can be nice but you gotta be right on people for it to have any effect. also, anyone mind explaining the burn cards? i have a ton of em...but dont use em...they help a ton?
Use your burn cards every time you get a chance, it's a free power up. Free xp, or any number of things. They work as long as you are alive, once you die you lose it. You get more by completing challenges and leveling. Sniping is not easy, I'm going to try out the high end sniper later today and see if I like it. I always use cloak on those, but I don't like cloak (personally I can see it very well usually). You have to find the highest point on the map and abuse it for 1 or 2 kills then reposition. Constant repositioning is key with everyone in this game, but especially as a sniper. The shotgun is ridiculous. The amped shotgun is stupid ridiculous. I really hope there's a competitive mode where that can be removed, it's OP as ****. The hemlock is the only other rifle I like, other than the R101, but it's really difficult to hit people with when they're up close. It's good at range though, but again almost pointless to use unless you're bored and want to do challenges. The CAR SMG is very nice, and I like the iron sight on it. I need to use it more though before I judge.
