There's really no such thing. Whoever is the first to invent one will be a billionaire. However, recently I've found that Phenibut works pretty well to lessen the effects.
Skip the "beer or two" and drink Sprite⢠This article is 5 months old http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/hangover-cure-finally-found-sprite-8866828.html
I think there's a company in Vegas that takes care of hangovers but they're pretty pricey (and use IVs and stuff). If someone could make a cure in a pill form, that be great.
hmmm sounds like one of those packs that the military uses... my Marine buddy in college used to carry those around and hook himself up in the morning... kinda sketchy though
Activated charcoal, preferably two hours before drinking stops. Before bed, a bottle of water and a peanut butter sandwich (loads of peanut butter). Bloody Mary or three the next day with a big glass of water between each one. Mexican food for lunch.
just getting rid of one, right now. took some BC headache powder and chugged like 2 bottle of water. will be fine in about 30 minutes.
Nuun tablets. You can get them at HEB or amazon. They are designed for runners and have electrolytes, salt and potassium in them. They dissolve in water. Take one before you drink, one at some point during and one before you go to bed. Takes away most hangovers....though you are still tired
First off - any of the advice that starts with drinking plenty of water between drinks, eating before drinking or drinking water before bed is stupid. It's only when I go on serious benders that I get a hangover, and when I go on serious benders I don't have the capacity to remember to do these things. No one does. Even though I asked for help the other day I'll offer my best advice. 1. Sleep again at some point, sleep as long as possible 2. Drink emergenc - it'll get vitamins in you and you'll feel better the second you drink (but that'll fade) 3. Pedialyte 4. Tons of water 5. Try and eat healthy and light even though you're craving grease, pho or other sodium infused watery foods probably are a good idea, but Pedialyte should do 6. Shower 7. Start drinking again, not heavy beer - the good beer, but liquor or light beer and power on through. It'll all feel better when the buzz comes back unless you haven't managed enough sleep 7b. If you don't plan on drinking again then eat whatever you want, healthy or not, and keep at it with the water/Gatorade G2
DO NOT drink more beer or alcohol the next day, detox to redox is simply a false myth. Alcohol is by nature a diuretic which drains your body of fluids and essential minerals, ala the hangover. Drink a bottle or two of water before you go to sleep (NO ADVIL OR MEDICATION; Your kidneys will be shot by the mixture of alcohol and pain meds), get as much sleep as possible, wake up and down some bacon and more and more water, and you should be feeling like yourself in no time.
