Steve Nash is not good with his money. He just seems like the type to not be smart in that regard.

This doesn't surprise me at all.

Didn't his divorce really drain him of a lot of his assets? Idk if this is all to be pinned on bad spending habits..

What on earth would give you that indication? Nash is a very smart dude.

honestly, as a Laker hater living in LA, I can tell you that's not the case.

he has been tirelessly working to try and return to the court. I'm sure you all have seen the Grantland special by now where they capture the moment he literally realizes that the Lakers are likely to use the stretch provision on him.

he, (like Kobe-IMO) has lost the battle to Father Time

I find it really funny Lakers fans are giving the guy hate when:

    1) Kobe insisted on still having one of the highest salaries in the league despite being injured and a shell of his former self. Contrast that to TD who has been one of the best ever since he got drafted and actually TOOK a paycut so the Spurs can afford Manu and Parker.

    2) Nash could've stayed in Raptorland and he could've gotten the max, OR he could've gotten the minimum and gotten a free ring courtesy of LBJ and Miami. Instead he chose a happy medium to compete in LA.

    3) 9M IIRC is spread out over a couple of years, so really it's like 4M or 3M per year. That's pretty cheap and actually a discount for someone of Nash's caliber.

So our PG depth would consistent of a player prone to fouls and another a mere sneeze away from injury.

I'm guessing a massive Canaan fan

If Kobe said the exact same thing, you would have a problem with it?

I don't have to imagine it. It's already happened.

    What's your point?
