This whole coverage is becoming one big fuking joke! *** them, the plane and everyone involved. Hope they all crashed into the ocean and get eaten by sharks.

Holy crap if that is true...

I heard last night from a pilot on tv that if a hijacker or a rogue pilot wanted to, they could put on their oxygen mask and then manually depressurize the cabin and climb to 40,000 feet or so. Within minutes the entire plane would be full of dead people.

I may have the logistics of how it would be done wrong, but basically this guy made it clear that a pilot would have the ability to knock out the passengers without a whole lot of trouble if it he knew how.

Good question. The first AP tweet was at 7:53am Malaysian time, so it was close, and there may have been an earlier report elsewhere.

Seriously what is wrong with you?

It is one thing to criticize the coverage but what do all those on the plane have to do with the coverage.

I hope this is a joke but even so it is one sick joke.

I find the theory that the plane was hijacked and taken to Central Asia very questionable. Central Asia is a hotbed of conflict and filled with surveillance. It seems like if they tried to fly it there the Indians, Pakistanis, US or China would've spotted it.

Because the story could be full of ****? Even if I did wish the passengers upon death, my comment shouldn't bother you because I'm behind a keyboard and I'm a p-u-ssy? and the internet? Okay I'll logged off now, sorry.

Dude, that is nuts. I'm reluctant to believe anything that comes from Malaysian officials' mouths regarding this due to their incompetence so far, but this would be insane.

It's like we're watching a thriller movie unfold in real time.

Wouldn't the plane have been picked up on radar somewhere if it indeed flew to the China/Kyrgyzstan border? It would've had to fly over India (capable military), Kashmir (tons of Indian and Pakistani hardware), India/China border (on edge), the Himalayas (too tall to fly so low) or Afghanistan (tons of US military hardware).

But, if the plane somehow flew into Chinese airspace, this would mean that China has been trying to throw the international search off of the scent.

Not sure I buy that. Wouldn't it have to fly through Indian and/or Chinese airspace in order to get to that point? If so, it's very likely someone would have noticed that "unauthorized aircraft" and raised an alarm.

Theory I posted earlier would fit that.

Um, I didn't think it had that much fuel. That border is in the northwestern extremity of China, IIRC. And yes, it had to cross the world's premier mountain range, and either many hours of Chinese air space or many hours of Indian air space.

Methink the Malaysians don't have a lot of experience dealing with global media like this, so it is like a Keystone Cops style of handling the media.

Come on. This guy is garbage.

Perhaps securing the US border from Mexico would prevented this.

McCain would've never let this happen.

    Thanks, Obama.
