I would argue that I knew the daughter if someone was holding a gun on him and possibly pointing it at me. I am not saying the boy is not faultless as I was not there, but it's easy to say he made it worse when you're not staring at death in the face.
I think Andrew Wiggins may be close to the mark. Young man looking to get some sneaks into girl's bedroom. She wants him to be quiet so her father, who's on several medications, won't hear them. Father confronts young man with a gun. Young man, feels humiliated and ashamed so he becomes aggressive. He insults the protective father. Daughter, who's afraid, refuses to take the young man's side. Young man dies reaching down for something. All the above is from the POV of the father and his (possibly coward?) daughter. The kid may have reached down for a knife, a gun, his iPhone, his fly, or not moved at all. The 'grabbing for something' excuse is the best one when shooting someone. Or, the story could've been exactly as the news reports it.
This reminds me of the year the Willowridge basketball player got shot by someone's dad in the middle of the state tourney.
How is this even remotely close to the Zimmerman incident. Because they are black? That must be it. This case has multiple witnesses and a lot of allegations. This is why we have trials and not judge hearsay from a news source.
Darn it... Kid forgot the taco bell commercial rule. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/y61fLD0NWAA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
******g r****ded situation that could easily been avoided like I don't know, how do most dumbass teens go through puberty? Masturbation? Does that not slip by his mind? You will have the opportunity to get laid, you have a whole life ahead of you, don't rush it, jerk it you ******g idiot.
Sarcasm, right? Otherwise you're saying over 70% of guys deserve being shot to death before high school because they "rushed it".
She deserves serious time. You don't let things play out when there is a gun involved. Put a stop to it and take your ass whoopin.
God, you Zimmerman groupies, one person mentions his name and you come running like a dog who hears food being poured into his bowl. It's not even a comparison, yet you react like this whole thread is about comparing both incidents. I was thinking about that Taco Bell commercial too. How surreal would it be if it played during the break after the local news ran this story.
when you're young and full of c*m, you do stupid things like banging your mexican girlfriend from monterrey, in her house in the valley, whose father is a fan of hunting and rooster fighting.sometimes,we don't think of the consequences like a father doing his best ambush of geary imitation with his brown bess.
This^^ I still feel like this is all on the teenage boy.... I mean, maybe if the girl was alone and her parents away it be more understandable but he walked into a house without permission not to chill with a homeboy or friend but to visit a girl whom he probably already knew had a strict and overprotective father. We all do stupid and dumb things when we are young because of "love" or our hormones..... Look at Paulstfk.... How much more did Paulstfk deserve to get shot? but hey that's life.... The kid should have been home sleeping.... But nope, he tried to keep it real.....
I am usually very critical of shooters and felt Zimmerman was at least guilty of manslaughter but I am inclined to agree with Roxxfan. I think under Texas law the father will go free. Without knowing more of the facts like what sort of motion the kid made that caused the father to shoot I have a hard time to say whether I feel it was justified but under Texas' castle doctrine should keep the father from getting convicted.
Ironically enough, this is how a lot of lynchings started. She should have known the boy would get in trouble and had the basic integrity to take responsibility.
